I have been trying to find a way to tame my frizzy hair. I thought I needed a smoothing serum. There are plenty of those but most of them are filled with chemicals and I cannot tolerate that. Nor the added perfumes. My hair was an embarrassing, frizzy mess. I bought this balm thinking it would help keep my hair in place after styling. It ended up doing more. I rub it on my hair before blow dying and it works better than any serum I've used. It contains all natural ingredients with a very soft, fresh scent. I have absolutely no problems with it as a sensitive person. My hair looks smooth and soft. Just don't use too much! Experiment and find what works.

I purchased this for my son, who has incredibly challenging hair and nothing else has worked before. I am so happy to have found this pomade, it's organic so I feel safe giving it to him to use, it's got a great hold to it (not too stiff but definitely keeps his hair in place) and it doesn't leave you with a greasy feel which I love. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a safe, clean, effective product that's affordable and locally made!

I tried this brand because it was recommended for those with sensitive skin and scalps. The amount received is smaller than other brands, but it has no scent, few artificial ingredients, and doesn't cause my skin to break out. It can look greasy if you apply too much, but it can lack hold if you apply too little. Easily softens and distributes in your hand for application. Certainly worth a try if you can't use other pomades due to skin sensitivity.

this is a perfect product: 100% organic - no bs no cedar, pine or nuts to irritate sensitive skin easy to use - just rub fast between your hands and rub in my stylists admire and recommend it after seeing it in my hair GREAT for beards! (my primary use) smells great great for scalp, skin and hair lasts forever! great price for such a quality product i am really picky and an amazon vet. this product meets my high expectations. if it didn’t, i’d shred it! i wish they had beard specific products! i strongly recommend this pomade.

Terrible hold for longer hair. It literally looks like putting oil on hair and does not hold. Not my style and could not make proper slick back with my hair.

I really like this product. I was excited to find hair products made with organic ingredients. I hadn't really thought much about it but it's something that touches my scalp everyday so why shouldn't I treat it like my skincare products? I have thick hair and even though it's not a super firm hold it does keep my hair in place. It does need to be warmed up just slightly since the oils do harden but it just takes a minute and then it goes on very smoothly. I highly recommend this product and I'll definitely be trying the grooming clay next!

Received without a problem so it gets two stars. Here we go, this is not a pomade, maybe a curl volume enhancer or something that you can use in a beard. It’s highly oily, to a point using straight oil would be just as good of an option. It has a light hold but again, it’s very very greasy, so greasy that it’s gross. If you like the greasy look and like a look that your hair hasn’t been washed in two weeks then this is for you. If you have dark hair and curls, then I can see this being a decent product, otherwise it’s not good.

I have crazy curls and this product is the first product that was able to control them. I love that the product is composed of organic ingredients and it smells nice too. I use just a smidge and less seems to be more for my hair. I am very happy with the product, I look forward to the future of Seattle Pomade Co. and I am ready to shop with you for life. Please never steer away from this concept of simple, organic, ingredients. I would love to see affordable, quality, receding hair line products.
