Bissell 2075A Powerfresh Slim Steam Mop

My sister referred this product to me after trying to find something to help keep her place clean and allergen-free for her children that started to develop allergies not only does this help and make things easier for her to clean she has used this product in ways that I never thought I would use them in, for instance, the mop attachment she uses to get to the top of her finished cupboards. My cupboards are not finished so I need to be a bit careful, But I use the steam to spray a light mist or steam a light mist of hot water on the cupboard and then use the microfiber pad to just gently wipe it away as opposed to applying the unit close to the unsealed and I'm finished painted cupboards that I have. I did not buy this for my cupboards though I purchased this to clean the tile on my kitchen counters and I am absolutely amazed at the job that this did my kitchen looks brand new not only does it look new it smells good and part of having an old house is trying to get rid of all smells and as I have worked meticulously through my house on a daily basis the Basic smell of the home as you come in is not as musty which is really great because normally when I have clean my carpets with vinegar and windows with vinegar it smells clean after two or three days but you have to smell vinegar for two or three days and with the steam cleaner I've used it on the windows I've used in the tub on the kitchen counters on the kitchen floor and even started using it To spot treat my carpet and then begin working on small sections of my carpet at a time and places where there has been dogs smell from accidents I put my nose right next to the carpet to smell it after two or three days and the smell is all but diminished now these are not saturated pet stains but my little dog had an accident I got majority Of the year and up right away but no matter what cleaners are used it's still had a faint odor if I would put my nose next to it and smell the spot but this unit has helped clean those areas to where there's hardly any smell at all. I can only use it for about an hour or so at a time if I am doing things that are chest height or shoulder height as my arm does get tired after a while from holding the unit but I like the weight of it so that I don't press too hard or scrub too hard on things that are not finished So it is a nice reminder in my old house to be gentle. However, it would be nice to be able to use it for more than just an hour at a time based on my limitations. This unit heats up extremely fast and is one of the key points that I like about it you open the top of the water and away you go and no matter what angle you have the unit even upside down this unit will still extract water needs to create the steam it is an excellent unit and I recommend it to everyone

I bought this to replace a heavier, older vacuum cleaner. After an illness which has weakened me, I have had to replace heavy items with light ones and this is definitely lighter than most vacuum cleaners. However, whereas my old vacuum cleaner needed to strength to lift it and to push it along, this one needs strength to stop it pulling you along. It really pulls itself forward on carpet. It does a good job of sucking up grunge from the carpet. I like that one can see exactly what has been sucked up in the clear plastic dust canister. You do have to be vigilant about noticing the canister it is getting more than half full or if the suction is getting blocked by something the machine sucked up. An easy way to tell is that the sound of the motor changes when it is straining against a blockage. Very easy to empty the canister into the trash and to clear the suction nozzle. I’m happy with this purchase.

I give this 4 stars because it cleaned my car seats really well — they looked fresh and almost like new! The steam power was strong and easy to use. But it didn’t work as well on my fabric sofa, which was a bit disappointing. Still, it’s a solid product for smaller jobs and car interiors. Just don’t expect it to deep-clean everything. I’ll keep using it for floors and car detailing for sure!

I’m absolutely thrilled with it! I tackled the grout between the tiles in our new house using the handheld portion, and it worked like a charm! Sure, it took some serious elbow grease since I was down on my hands and knees, but the results were totally worth it. You can even switch to the longer handle and attach the circular scrubber for even more ease! But that’s not all—the long floor mop section is a game changer! After scrubbing the grout and soaking up all the nasty dirt with a towel, I went over the entire floor with the mop, and let me tell you, it looks amazing! My socks are finally free from dirt when I walk around. What a relief! I couldn't be more satisfied! Look at the difference on my photo.

I've used this machine (model 2075a) 3x in the last week. Works well on kitchen lino floor and bathroom floor tiles. Kitchen lino is old and stained despite prior regular cleaning. After 2 steam cleans 3 days apart it seems like lino staining is diminishing a bit (less grey looking). Bathroom floor tiles cleaned with steam nozzle only (around toilet) don't really appear less stained (grout) but I am going to steam again with the grout attachment and see if the steam + scrubbing makes a difference. Used steam in window tracks and worked well. Will try on patio sliding door tracks next. Used handheld part to steam new mattress and new pillows with small flat attachment and the cloth supplied and I think that worked well. Have used in the high steam setting for all cleaning. Curious how the heavy duty model may be different. Handheld part is a bit heavy and a bit awkward with prolonged use and when attached to the full mop will fall over so be very careful as it is too top heavy. Falling over, especially on a hard surface could damage it. I think this cleaner is good, but not great. No regrets about purchase. Company website sells replacement accessories at too high of a cost (absolute gouge) and replacement steam part is no longer available in case you are thinking far ahead. Would purchase knock-off cleaning pads here instead or figure out how to attach a microfibre cloth myself.

Too big and too heavy. This mop is not effective at all. It requires special water to use, yet it doesn’t even heat properly. Honestly, it’s no different from a regular unheated mop. It barely removes regular dirt and does not remove stubborn spots at all. If it weren’t too late, I would have returned it — easily one of the worst purchases I’ve made. I wish I made more research before purchasing it

I purchased this in 2021 and loves it. It did a great job cleaning my floors. It’s a bit on the heavier side but the ease of use and effectiveness made it worth it. After about a year, it stopped working and I contacted Bissel and they sent me a replacement under their two year warranty, which was great. However about 8 months later the replacement stopped working as well and they are unfortunately not replacing it. I wouldn’t think steam mops have a life span of one year so will not be purchasing another Bissel this time around as they really should last longer.

i have used this steamer a few times now and find that for the most part, I like it. the only problems I have has with it are as follows: the accessories holder kept falling off so I have takin it off permanently. The grout brush attachment ground down to the end the first time I used it and amazon does not sell a replacement for this specific attachment. I found this one pretty odd because I was sure it would not be a problem. I find that holding down the on button very tiring on my hand. I do not know the why of this since you are holding the handle anyway. but I do find the strain on the hand a problem. I do not know how they would change the cord, but I do not like they way it just hands of the steamer when not in use. I also find it can be very painful when you switch heads it you do not let the steamer cool down It cleans the floor efficiently and I do love the swivel of the mop that allows you to get into hard to reach areas
