I recently purchased the LG Universal Remote and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and ease of use. As someone who has multiple devices in their living room, including an LG TV, a Blu-ray player, and a sound system, the ability to control all these with a single remote has been a game changer. Arrived today and all we did was turn on the TV et voila! The remote automatically registered itself. Nothing had to be programmed. Excellent for my parents whose remote broke a few days ago. They love the new feature of the wheel (the old remote didn't have this as it was the standard LG remote that came with the TV), so the wheel is an upgrade for them. Compatible with LG 2017 model. We recommend this product. Everything synced automatically (even the Netflix and Amazon buttons). There was no need to program. Very easy to use.

I bought one about 9 months ago. After about 8 months began to have problems with wheel seemingly become loose and not going where I clicked. Actually, minor problem. Yes, it got dropped several times. It does not have that frustrating pointer and no voice recognition. But it works. You scroll. Click. It it works then it is spot on. If for some reason the wheel is getting loose what might happen is due to you thumb clicking motion it might go up or down to the next choice so you scroll down and click slower and it works fine. It is cheap-until the tariffs. Seems it is made in Korea. So, it is not perfect. But compared to the other more expensive remotes which I have purchased with that damn pointer it is great because the other more expensive ones don’t last long and that is why I am buying another of the one I am reviewing because it works great. Cheap. And it really doesn’t drive me too nutty. I really hate the pointers that seem to be off and when, for example you are on Prime and you want to click on a movie etc and you click on the movie but the pointer clicked on something else and you might have just purchased a 21 dollar movie that you didn’t want to see then you go nuts and have to undue the mess. That is why I love this remote. Inexpensive and if it works for almost a year-FANTASTIC.

We bought an out of box TV from Best Buy and honestly got a great deal on it. Got it home and realized it didn't come with a remote 😐 Amazon to the rescue. This remote works so well. I like the cool design and it didn't take any configuration to connect to the tv. Works perfect! Would definitely purchase again!

Bought for LG SSJ8500 TV. Original remote stopped working. This is the same except it doesn't have the annoying pointer feature.

This remote requires you to have to push the buttons more than once almost 50% of the time. It consistently has delays in controlling the TV and is quite annoying. This is after battery replacements. I am controlling an LG C7 with it. I have had it for just over a year and will be buying a different replacement now.

I am replacing them magic remote on a LG47LS5700. Out of the box, throw in some batteries and its connects with the TV. All the basic features work well. Some of the advanced features (ie. delete stations) don't work and there are a number of buttons that dont seem to have any function at all. The manual isn't much help Its an inexpensive solution for a TV with a fancy remote that isnt availabe anymore. So its more accurate to say its compatible, with limited functionality, for all LG TVs. A solid, its ok.

Our old remote was needing its batteries replaced almost weekly. We bought this remote, and it has worked perfectly! We haven’t had to change the batteries yet and it was compatible with our tv right away. It has a button for Netflix and Amazon. It is a great universal remote if you are looking for a new one.

0 star, Do nit buy at any cost. Product not delivered but track shows it as a delivered. Previous ordered remote was diamaged. Middle button doesnt work in remote. No pointer. Its a fake product.

Very basic product - no scroll, no click, no voice & no pointer - but just works as a simple remote & value for the small money paid !

Works OK with poor quality buttons. Right navigation button is softer than the left for my unit. Value for money for the price because original is 4 to 5 times expensive than this.
