This kept my germination dome warm and humid. The plants LOVE it. I'm glad I bought it. It's a bit tricky to roll it back up to store in the included bag... but mostly because I worry about rolling it up too tightly. This heats evenly and kept my seedlings worm in a cooler part of the house. It did not have a timer so I just plugged it into a lamp timer. Simple and easy to use.

I was surprised by how good the quality of this mat is. The adjustable temperature really works, I tested the temperatures before trying the seeds on it. Low is barely warm, high is a little too warm even for my chilly basement, and I found that about 1/3 past medium turned out perfect. Almost all of my bell pepper seeds came up. I just ordered another of these so I can start the rest of my seeds at once. I am completely new at starting plants from seeds but this makes it easy. I highly recommend this mat!
