These are actually kids' shorts so no they will not. I made the same mistake. Make sure you look up adult shorts.

I will be a lifeguard this summer and want thick white shorts so you won’t see the red underneath. Are these see through?

Well I have never bought white but I have had navy blue , gray and forest green. Nothing showed through them but you wouldn’t expect it to. Would it be super horrible if your red lifeguard clothing showed through a little bit? Everyone would know that there was a red bathing suit under there and they wouldn’t bat an eyelash I don’t think.

Is the red a bright red or a more of a maroon?
