Ever Pretty Women's One-Shoulder Evening Gown

I ordered this evening dress specifically to wear for formal night on a cruise. The fit was perfect for me. I'm 5' 4" and weigh about 170 pounds, and the size 16 was perfect. It is very forgiving in the stomach area which is where I hold most of my weight. I received many compliments on the dress, and felt comfortable in it all evening. It does have padding, so you can wear this without a bra, however; I wore a strapless bra just for a bit more support. I didn't have this dress hemmed, however; I was wearing higher heeled shoes. The dress was still a bit long, so something to think about if you're on the shorter side. You will want to have it hemmed or wear very high heels. I felt beautiful wearing this dress. The piece that drapes down the back is fun, romantic, and flirty. Even though I'm a fuller figured girl, I felt confident of how well I looked in this dress. And, it was well made considering the price tag of $65.00. I have no complaints at all, and recommend this dress.

As much as I hate polyester, this was a lovely dress. The material wrinkles easily, but I'm sure steam would help with that. It was a little thin on the outer fabric, but there is a lining underneath. The top was only EVER so slightly bigger than my bust. I ordered size 22 because I have always been in between sizes. I'm 5'5", so the dress was long on me and had to wear heels. Overall, it's very functional and the color was EXACTLY like the picture. Whenever my best friend gets her wedding pics back, I'll try to upload how it looked on me. Everything else fit fine, but the shape of the top was a little odd.

I bought this in white to wear for my wedding. We found out we were expecting AFTER setting the due date and after I had already purchased a different dress. So, I wanted something comfortable, pretty and not too spendy. I got this in a size US8 and it fit almost perfectly. Pre-baby I was about 125lbs, 34C chest 5'4 and when I got married, I was 21 weeks along and had gained to about 138lbs, but only really in my chest and stomach. I lift and do spin classes/cardio so my arms and shoulders did not change. The only alteration I had to have was to the actual skirt. The dress is completely see-through so I went and bought fabric and had a lining sewn in. The chest could have been taken in a 1/2 inch but I didn't care enough to do it. That lining made is just perfect and I wore short wedges to our garden wedding, flip flops with about a once inch heel to the reception. The photo attached is really corny but its the best one to show how the top looks. I was definitely showing at my wedding, but very comfortable. Four stars because the dress is completely see-through on the skirt. But I got a lot of compliments and was very comfortable!

So, I normally leave long reviews, because when I order something, I like other people being as detailed as possible before I make a decision. Sorry in advanced, lol. I ordered this dress for a military ball I’m accompanying my boyfriend to in June (currently April). I needed something elegant, classy, and simple that would A. fit what a military ball requires for its guests, and B. would also be appealing to me (I’m picky). I’m 5’4”, weighing in at 135-140, and I have 34DD chest. I went with the size 6 based off of the size chart, and in pink (I never do pink, so I was nervous about this choice). It arrived in 3 days (whoo Amazon Prime!), so it definitely arrived on time (two months early, actually), which is a plus. In regards to the fit, I’m very satisfied. There’s a zipper on the right side, as the one shoulder strap is on the left. At the top of the zipper, there’s a hook to keep it in place, as seen in the 5th picture. Once zipped, it’s snug around my bust, to the point where there is no need to have a strapless bra on. The dress is not revealing and I feel secure, even without a bra. The length is perfect, and it’s very flowy and light. In my boyfriend’s words, “it looks freeing.” The material itself is very soft and comfortable. Like, I could sleep in this if I wanted to. It is NOT see-through by any means, either. The stitching is professional, and overall, it’s simple, which I like compared to overly-extravagant dresses I’ve worn in the past. The ONLY issue I have with this purchase was how the packaging made the dress wrinkly (it was concealed within a sealed plastic bag, inside an envelope around 14x18in). This is a minor issue, as it can be fixed with an iron, steam, or you can even go have it dry cleaned if you wish, but had this not occurred, it would have actually been a perfect purchase. I am 5’5”, 120#, got 3 inch heels and the dress spilled onto on the floor being that it was too long. I got a size 4 (smallest size Amazon had) and I am a 32D, but the top part gapped on the side, so it was a little loose at the top, but nobody noticed and the strap of the dress is secure enough where it didn’t matter. You don’t need to wear a bra. The middle/waste was also a little Big. But I was able to fix the problem of the dress being too long and it being too big around the middle by using 4 safety pins to bring in the sides and at the same time pull up the overlay on the front of the dress so it ended up to be the perfect length and fit great. I was surprised at how many people raved about how this dress looked on me! I kid you not, someone said I look like a Greek goddess, another person said it was so beautiful they wanted to cry, and then another stranger just went on and on about how elegant and beautiful it was! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten that much attention my whole life lol. But the point being is that this dress is so beautiful and what I loved about it is that it was so stinking comfortable!

I've bought dresses from this same manufacturer before and they fit perfectly. NOT THIS TIME!!! I was on a strict time limit and ordered four different dressed from "Ever Pretty" in the same size I've always gotten, a six. Every single one of them was WAY too small. My 12 year old daughter, who weighs 108 lbs and is 5'3" barely fit into any of them. I'm 5'9" and weigh around 160. You can imagine they did NOT fit me. I'm very thin "on top" with a curvy "hour glass body shape", my waist is only 27' around, so this dress SHOULD HAVE FIT ME. I've had to send them all back and try again. Hopefully, I'll get something by tomorrow, as my event is the day after tomorrow. Very disappointing.

I was so nervous when I bought this dress not knowing what quality it would be but I was so pleasantly surprised. I did size down even though the chart measurements were really a size 8, I ordered the 6 and it fit perfect so if you are close to the larger size I say size down. Its a great quality product and so inexpensive. Love this dress!!!!

This dress is of exceptional quality for the price. It's a nice quality fabric and is lined and I feel it would be double the price in an upscale Department store. It is a dark red, almost burgundy but definitely no maroon tinting when held up to actual maroon colored garment. It is a very modern cut and I really like it overall. It's allowed me to create a gothic wedding dress with the right accessories and it's beautiful and flattering. It flows freely and definitely fits a little big but is still form-fitting. If I lose to much weight before I have to wear it in two months I might have to exchange it for a smaller size, but it looks good for now. I'd say whoever designed the actual patterns is really talented in that you can tell from this piece's ability to scale to the person. It's really a two-sized dress, intended to fit size 18-22. I'm at an 18 now and it's almost to big. I may have it tailored, it's quality enough to consider at least, or get some sort of pin for the back. I think for women of my size may want to wear a coverup, and I'd suggest an open face cardigan shrug. It allows for the accentuation provided by the dress to be shown while covering your arms.

Was so sceptical about ordering my bridesmaid dresses online but I took a risk and it paid off, they are beautiful! I was so impressed how quickly they came too! They look lovely on my bridesmaids and fit really well, the only problem is they are a tiny bit long but that was to be expected so having them taken in slightly at the length. As other people are saying it does come very tightly packed in a bag so there is creasing but that's nothing a low heat iron and some elbow grease won't sort out so that doesn't worry me... For the price and speediness of the delivery I really can't fault them. Thanks so much for these beautiful dresses!

Absolutely stunning, amazed at the quality for the price I paid! Length was perfect, I am a size 18 on top, ordered the 18 and found I had a little slack, very comfortable and not enough to fall down or anything! Flattering fit on any shape, I day this at almost 7 months pregnant! Will definitely use this seller again!
