I wanted to get this lube for inserting my cup on the last days of my period where I am more sensitive and my flow is light, I think it will make insertion easier. But since my period is 20 days away I used it for intercourse and it is wonderful. After having children and being on hormonal birth control my body doesn't make as much lubricant as it used to, so I always use lube. This area is sensitive and many lubes I've tried can be irritating (creating a burning sensation inside of me) so I was excited to try this. Pixie lube didn't get sticky and didn't irritate my sensitive body at all. I think this will work for my cup during my period (I will update review once I've tried it how it was intended to be used!). Excellent lube for non-cup purposes though (way better than ky and less sticky than astroglide which is what I usually use), I'd continue purchasing for that alone. Price is good, it's a pretty big container and a little of this goes a long way (I think I'll probably only need one pump to put on rim of cup). *update--finally used with my menstrual cup and it worked great. I only needed one pump on rim and a tiny bit on cup near rim, very helpful for insertion, great lube.

The first one i got was very runny, like it was just water. Luckily they gave me another one that seemed like the right thickness. Both of them actually did allow me to insert my cup, but it was definitely easier with the second one. It seems the products are not always consistent, but if you get the right one it is a pretty good quality for the price! My only complaint is that when I bought it, the ingredients advertised were incorrect, and this product DOES CONTAIN PROPYLENE GLYCOL. While I myself haven't had any sensitivities to the product yet, as far as I can tell, I know there are some people who might be sensitive to that ingredient. So that's why I took one star off, but otherwise this product works pretty well and is a better price than most traditional products on the market, without most of the unnecessary ingredients. I will give five stars if they take off the images with the misleading ingredient list :) Update: I ended up throwing away the watery one. You may as well just use water. However, the other one is still great. I use it pretty much every day that I use my cup, except heavier days when I don't need the extra slip as much.

So let me first say that I have incredibly sensitive skin. I am skeptical of any product that claims to be hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin, because let’s face it, it rarely is. This lubricant is definitely hypoallergenic. It’s so smooth and it really helped with the whole insertion process. I didn’t even know I needed this until I used it with the cup and OH MY GOD! It’s soooo much easier! This is definitely a must have with your favorite menstrual products, you have got to put it in your kit.

I'm still new to discs and this is my second cycle using one. First cycle i didn't use lube. This time I've used the lube and it was honestly much easier to insert the disc, especially considering i have some postpartum prolapse and a retroverted uterus which both seem to make it a bit harder to insert. I was able to get it in within a few seconds. The only annoyance is of course having lube on the outside after insertion and needing to thoroughly clean up, but that's to be expected. Didn't notice any irritation, no fragrance, overall seems to be a good lube for its purpose. It's small for the price but you don't need much at all, and it's only being used maybe a few times a month depending on length of your flow.

I don’t ever do videos or leave lots of long reviews! So it’s now the same product I’d as the old one but the old one was water based , 100ml less then the last one I bought because they have changed packaging and ingredients!! It’s now all plant based lubricant! It’s thinker now but smells strange! So I smelled strange! And the packaging is a lot less recyclable as now it’s not coming apart and u can’t wash it out and recycle ♻️! It now had bamboo and looks amazing but why change a good thing ! May as well buy normal lube water based silk type and save loads of money!

This is a tube of 75 mL of water-based lubricating gel. The tube fits in my hand. It's portable and snaps tight. The gel is thick, clear, odorless, and easy to apply. I put it on my hand and also some more sensitive skin, and I haven't noticed any bad reaction to it. The gel that I put on my hand dried in a minute without any irritation. The ingredients sound natural and fine to me, and there are only four: Zanthoxylum Bunganeum fruit extract, plant cellulose, water, and fructus forsythiae.. Zanthoxylum Bunganeum and fructus forsythiae are both found in China, which is where this is made. This gel is advertised for pixie cups, but I ordered it for vibrators. I've used pixie cups for years and never needed lubricating gel, but I insert the cup after my flow has started. I use my fluids from my body for lubrication. I tried it with a pixie cup for the sake of this review and it works for that. The instructions on the tube say to put a small amount around the rim. I inserted it with a small amount of difficulty, because the rest of the cup wasn't lubricated. If I use more on the rest of the cup, I'm not sure that it helps because then I have trouble gripping the cup. In any case, some people will find this gel useful for pixie cups, and I'm happy that it works with my vibrators. This gel is very lubricating; I don't need to use much. I've been using more than a large pea size, but a small pea size works. The price is $13.95 for 75 mL, which is one third the price of the last water-based lubricating gel that I tried. The price is reasonable enough that I might buy it myself.

I love this lube. I use it with the Pixie disc applicator and it makes insertion a breeze. I love that this lube was double-sealed. The packaging was completely sealed and there is another seal sealing the product under the cap. There is absolutely no scent, which is absolutely necessary, as this can be very irritating for some of us, and really doesn't belong in this type of product anyway. The lube itself is perfect. Super smooth and gives the glide needed. The texture is light and it is not sticky or tacky at all. It dries down without residue and like it was never even there. User tip, use just a small amount, a little goes a long way! This tube of gel is small enough to throw in your purse and also would be great for travel. I like the packaging because it almost looks like it could just be hand lotion, so it's discreet. This lube, or cup insertion gel, as they call it, is fantastic. 5 stars for me means the product is good quality, works well, is advertised accurately, and I think you will be overjoyed with the product. The product exceeds expectations and I actually get excited to use, and would recommend or purchase as a gift.
