Canon EOS 6D Mark II Digital SLR Camera Body – Wi-Fi Enabled

I got this as a backup for my 5D MIV, mostly for nature shooting but also for everything else, and I love it. The focusing speed and accuracy are comparable to the very-responsive 80D that I'll soon be selling, having decided to go completely full frame. The narrow spread of the focus points isn't ideal, but it's pretty easy to accommodate for, especially when shooting static objects where you can focus and recompose. And it's worlds above the original 6D. In fact, the 6D II has a bunch of new features that make it highly superior to the original. That fact compelled me to replace my existing 6D, not the least being the articulating, touch-sensitive screen, which helps me greatly in shooting macro wildlife, including venomous snakes. I'll be using it a lot for this purpose, and I'm very sure the images will be even better than those from the 80D with 100mm macro (though with full-frame I'll have to get slightly closer for equivalent shots....). The increase in resolution is also an important advance, allowing for cropping without losing much sharpness (also helps with those snakes, which sometimes I don't want to approach too closely). The body's relatively small, light dimensions are yet another plus, especially for a backup body. One reason I wanted another full-frame body is that in the field I generally have the 100-400mm mounted on the 5D MIV so that I'm always ready for a bird or other wildlife shot. Having a second mounted body for landscapes, scenics and other closer images--a body that's relatively light but also has high resolution--is important in the way I do nature travel because I like to go out with two mounted bodies. I don't want the weight (or cost) of a second 5D MIV dragging me down. This works beautifully in that light. The camera's much-hyped deficiency in dynamic range isn't really evident to me in shooting landscapes and general nature, which is most of its use. I just don't see a problem, just as I often don't see smaller "sharpness" differences, as defined by that one particular MP-obsessed testing website, to be significant in the real world. For critical uses, for example when the light spread is super-wide in a landscape, I'll often opt for HDR anyway, which extends dynamic range well beyond what any camera is capable of handling. Everything else about the 6D II--responsiveness, focus speed and accuracy, beautifully quiet shutter, sharp images, touchscreen, intuitiveness, and on and on--are all important to me and a good reason for my upgrade. If you're considering going full frame from APS-C, this is probably your best (Canon) option. For anyone already shooting full frame, this body makes a fine backup.

This camera has some of the coolest features. I had reservations at first but you can't beat the price. It is well worth every dollar. I'm using it mainly for Astrophotography. ISO options are by far the best I've ever used. Very little noise and amazing pictures. I cant express how happy I am with it. The seller CameraSpot were very professional and accessible. There customer service was amazing. They were so helpful with any questions I had and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Good customer service is hard to find nowadays. Oh did I mention, MY CAMERA CAME 3 DAYS EARLY!! 😃 I will definitely be buying from them again.

I have been using a Canon 40D for almost 10 years. Prior to that I used a Canon Rebel for about 10 years. My first camera was a Pentex K1000. This camera is really impressive. The quality of the photos is really great. It helps that I have lenses to use with the camera. My red stripe lens produces really great photos. The settings on the camera are a bit complicated. It takes time to get used to. I think for a beginner the Rebel is a great entry level camera. It allows a person to learn how to shoot photos and build a collection of lenses. The XXD cameras are mid-level cameras. A beginner can start there, but there will be a lot more things to learn on that camera than on the Rebel. This camera is more for the person that has been taking photos for a while and is ready for a semi/pro level camera. The camera helps to take great picture quality, but great photos come from the person. That part of photography does not require a fancy camera. If you take bad photos, a great camera will not make them better and in many cases may make them worse. I take all photos in manual mode and make variances on settings for effects. This camera has become a great tool for me as an artist and for capturing the memories of my family.

If you're like me and have a lot tied up in high quality Canon glass, the EOS 6D Mark II with its full frame CMOS sensor is the logical place to step in and unlock the short end focal length of your lenses. My 17-40 f4L is now a true 17mm at its wide end and it looks fantastic in the viewfinder. My 28-300mm f3.5-5.6L IS is now vastly more usable indoors than on the 1.6X crop sensor SLR's, which rendered its short end a 45mm instead. Feature-wise, the EOS 6D Mark II is very comparable to the current crop of xxD series Canon SLR's. Canon down graded the shutter from 1/8000 found on the 80D to 1/4000, and cut top flash sync to 1/180th instead of the 1/250th found on the 80D. This would have been an ideal time to at least match those specs found on the more budget friendly Canon SLR's. I still don't find those specs to be deal breakers, especially in a body that offers a full frame sensor at this price point. It is in all ways an improvement over its predecessor, the 6D. The EOS 6D Mark II gets panned in some circles (mostly professional) for not living up to the performance hype of more costly Canon pro bodies. In honesty I don't think Canon necessarily intended it to replace bodies in its high end (and high cost!) professional line. However if you're a hobbyist or advanced amateur looking to unlock the potential of a full frame CMOS sensor, this is one to consider. Built-in GPS, Bluetooth, weather sealed body and more, help make this a keeper.

This is my first full frame Canon and I am extremely pleased with the 6D Mark II after two months. I matched it with a Canon 24-70 F4 L and so far I am getting the excellent results I had hoped for. The high iso capability (I have taken a number of photos at 12k and 16k for testing) allows an F4 lens to meet shutter speed needs and still be very usable even at those iso levels. There are a number of other positives about this camera including battery life, the sturdy build, the lens choices, but most importantly the quality of the results. The pictures it produces are wonderful. As an amateur with some experience, this is more than meeting my requirements in finally experiencing full frame, something I had wanted to do for a long time. Canon has build an outstanding camera at a good price point for those of us wanting to try full frame. I highly recommend.

I could try to defend all the negative reviews this camera got when it came out in 2017 but i wont. If you are looking for a great semi-pro full frame this is your camera. I don't do video just straight photography and have been very happy with the results. Great color, fantastic background separation and great focus capabilities among the very many other features it offers. This is a great camera, do not hesitate to choose it over previous version or the more expensive 5D line without the flip screen. The vendor advertised camera accurately and was prompt at delivering it. Would definitely purchase from them again.

I've been shooting this camera for 6 months now and really want to give it 5 stars. It is solid, produces beautiful images, and I love the articulating touch screen and intuitive menus. I'm not bothered by some of it's well-publicized short-comings such as no 4K video, 1 card slot, or 1/4000 shutter speed, and I'm not having any issues with the dynamic range. If you want incredible image quality, this camera nails it. However, the limited coverage of the focusing points in the viewfinder can be a pain in the butt, and results in a 4-star rating from me. I was aware of this issue when I bought the camera, but I was upgrading from the Canon 60D which only has 9 focusing points. At first, I thought the "focus and recompose" method would continue to be an adequate work around, but the more I shoot, the more the focusing limitations annoy me. To be fair, when shooting in Live Mode, the touch screen offers more focusing coverage than the viewfinder, but I'm mostly shooting through the viewfinder. While this is an unfortunate letdown by Canon, it actually affects only a small number of number of my shots, and I'd still recommend this camera just on image quality.

Recibí el producto tal cual como se anuncia en la publicación, canon 6d mark ii. El único detalle que tuve es que la caja no venía sellada y que el cable del cargador es europeo por lo que necesitas un adaptador o tener ya un cable de cargador canon. Pero el producto nuevo, sin fallas después de unas semanas de uso. Y con amazon tienes un mes para aplicar la devolución. El precio fue el mejor, estoy satisfecho con el desempeño de la camara, sobre todo con el manejo de altos valores de ISO, la calidad de imagen y las funciones integradas que le dan un plus respecto el modelo anterior.

Voor relatief weinig geld een uitstekende 2ehands Canon 6DII gekocht. Ziet er uit als nieuw, werkt uitstekend en er zitten een batterygrip en 3 accu's bij. Dit is een geweldige upgrade vanaf de Canon 6D. De camera heeft geen ingebouwde stabilisatie, maar met de juiste objectieven is goede stabilisatie te realiseren. Erg blij met deze aanwinst. Aangezien de camera een full frame sensor heeft, is hij ook zeer geschikt voor fotograferen en filmen bij weinig licht.
