I bought this last year before the start of hurricane season to tie up shade cloths. I wanted something that was strong, thin and longer lasting than the rope I used to use which would fray and deteriorate in the sun. These have lasted and haven't burst when we've had strong wind gusts and the cord is easy to pull when hurricanes threatened. I bought several packs and replaced the majority of the ropes I used on various shade cloths around my home.

Ive been educated!! Surprised to find this EXTREMELY STRONG paracord, which is SAME SIZE as the flimsy 4mm regular cord found at Walmart or Dollar store!! Regular "Paracord" carries a tensile strength rating fron 150# to 550# , but this brand states 1000$- wow! Thanks, Olan K.

The 100’ length is wrapped on a pc of cardboard and delivered in a flat package. Color is constant throughout. Best cut using a hot knife or soldering gun to melt ends and prevent fraying.

Looks like a good quality paracord and length was correct. I’ve not load tested it, but suspect the 1000lbs. claim would be optimistic under idea conditions.

I go camping almost every weekend I love using paracord for tying up tarps or for when I take runs to the trash to tie down my load this is good quality and the price is affordable definitely will buy again

I have used paracord "rope" type material before, so I had certain expectations. This material is so much thinner than any other paracord I have owned, it really should be called thick string. I can use it for misc applications and it didn't cost much so I will not return it, but if you are really looking for rope, this isn't it.
