These are actually way nicer than I expected. The case they come in is really sturdy and arranged well. There’s a good assortment of connectors and plenty of each- it’s a reasonably good value. However: the crimping tool is the best I have ever used. I have a couple of cheap pack-in crimpers from other sets that feel gritty and imprecise. I always end up ruining as many ends as I actually successfully crimp. The tool that came with this set feels incredibly smooth and just works better even though it’s the same general design. I’m sure it’s not as good as like a $60 tool or something but it works for me. I also really, really appreciated the guide that it came with. The documentation was very easy to understand and it actually tells you which connectors go with which metal bits, what gauge of wire will work with each, and which size cutout on the crimper to use. Other kits I’ve bought don’t tell you anything so it’s a bit of trial and error.

Es hat etwas Übung gebraucht, um die Funktionsweise der Crimpzange zu verstehen und die Handhabung anhand der Beschreibung nachzuvollziehen, aber dann war das Ergebnis sehr gut. Von den kleinsten Crimp-Steckern bis hin zu KFZ-Steckern und -Buchsen ist das Ergebnis aus meiner Sicht einwandfrei. Die Qualtät der mitgelieferten Stecker ist ok, keine "Edelware", aber dem Preis entsprechend. Leider sind von den Einzelsteckern, die doch am meisten benötigt werden, im Verhältnis zu wenige vorhanden. Das ist aber bisher der einzige Nachteil, den ich festgestellt habe.
