I’ve only had this mount installed for a short time, so I can’t speak to long-term use yet, but so far I’m very happy with it. The instructions were clear, everything needed for installation was included, and the template made setup pretty straightforward. The mount itself is heavy, but that’s because it’s built solidly. Once I had the holes drilled, I was able to install it myself, although having a second person would definitely make it easier. Everything felt sturdy right away, with no looseness or wobble in the swivel points. The movement is smooth, and the leveling adjustment helped get the TV perfectly straight after mounting. One of the biggest reasons I bought this mount was because my studs are spaced wider than normal due to a pocket door nearby. A lot of mounts would not work for my setup, and the ones that did were extremely expensive. This one fit perfectly and cost much less than some of the other options I looked at. I also like being able to pull the TV out and angle it when sitting off to the side. It makes a big difference when watching TV or playing games from different spots in the room. My 65” TV is around 53 pounds, and this mount handles it with no problem at all. Overall, this is a well-built, sturdy mount that was easy to install and works exactly as expected. For the price, I think it’s a very good value.

Took me a while to hone in on a reputable TV mount brand given the flood of brands out there. My opinion is that cost concerns should be secondary when you are hanging an OLED TV that can potentially rip your wall out. I settled on Echogear and I am glad that I did. Right out of the box this thing is HEAVY, which is always a good sign. The motion join give just enough resistance without being difficult to move, they really dialed it in. Installation is what you would expect. Find your studs and you will be fine. There is small degree of level adjustment after you hang your TV which is a life saver. Seamless bracket installation for my LG C4. The side cover had a small misalignment, and that is the only hiccup I ran into. I just used my drill to expand the side cover holes a bit, not a big deal.

This is my second purchase of the ECHOGEAR MaxMotion TV Wall Mount, and I came back to it because my first one has been working perfectly since 2016. It has never sagged, slipped, or caused any problems at all, so I knew I could trust it again for my new setup. I installed this new mount for my 77 inch LG B5 television, and it performs just as well as my original one. The build quality feels very strong, and the full motion movement is smooth, steady, and easy to adjust. It pulls out, swivels, and tilts with no effort, and it stays exactly where I place it. The installation process was simple and very clear. The instructions made sense, the hardware felt solid, and everything lined up well with the studs. Once the television was on the mount, it sat level and extremely secure. I am very impressed with how reliable this product has been for almost a decade, and I am just as impressed with the new one. Thanks to the reviews, I was confident of buying this tv mount for my 86” TCL Roku TV to hold up in my tattoo shop! My shop had drywall and metal studs instead of wood studs. Which was great because I went to home depot and got the metal nailes to drill in to hold the mount. What I like about this TV Mount is that is flexible and allows your tv to be viewed in multiple angles and directions! Allowing you to tilt it down , rotate it, extend outwards, keep on the wall, angel it to the left, right, or keep it centered/fixed. I was very impressed and surprised that this mount was able to hold and support the weight of my tv all while adjusting it! It’s very strong and PERFECT for HEAVY DUTY TV INSTALLATION! All I could say was just WOW when it was finally put up! If your hesitate on buying a tv mount that your not sure will hold your big huge tv up, LOOK NO FURTHER AND BUY THIS! Heavy duty, strong, adjustable, easy to setup, ease to use and GREAT PRICE FOR WHAT ITS WORTH! The size is PERFECT too and well designed. Flat enough to blend semilessly on the wall and have your tv fixed FLAT on the wall without it being “out” too much. Excellent build quality. The instructions were clear and thorough and included all the nuances for a variety of hanging scenarios. The instructions also included humor that was an unexpected touch of humanity for a tv-mount manufacturer of all things. A wide range of adjustments, included template, and flexible set up made this experience 5 stars and very worth the money.

They company says they strive to provide an easy install process for this mount, and they have REALLY delivered. The instructions are clear, complete, and accurate. They're also fun as they have various jokes and such along the way... refreshing to see they spent a lot of time on it. The kit includes everything you need to install it, including many extra bits of hardware, so they really try to cover it all. If you need to mount into concrete or brick, you'll need suitable anchors, but that's a less likely situation, so it makes sense they didn't include them... but everything else is there, which is great. And it's all quality hardware too, not cheap light-duty looking stuff. Impressive. Installation was very easy. They provide a well made template that is cutout and not just a thin piece of paper - it's card stock, which is great. Again, they really thought of everything AND implemented it well. The mount is super sturdy and well made, of course. My OLED83 (~70 lbs) is very secure and I'm not worried in any way. Movements are smooth and the mount provides a LOT of adjustment. Even while moving, it doesn't feel wobbly or anything... very secure. The mount offers tilt, right/left angle, and right/left linear movement (though this requires the TV to be not-flush to the wall), and rotation angle correction - all of these are adjustable even after the TV is mounted (especially since you can pull it off the wall so easily!) My only disappointment is that for a "full motion" mount, the TV does not move LINEARLY up and down. Marketing strikes again. That said, there is a good deal of adjustment on the brackets that go to the TV... so you can move it up/down by using different screw holes. The only down side is that there are no measurements, information, or guidance given on how to do this. I figured it out myself, but it would be nice for them to include this info, especially since the hardware can support such changes. Install is fast for sure. Really, only 4 screws into the studs, and then 4 screws for the brackets to the TV, then you can hang the TV onto the mount and 2 screws to lock it into place. It took me longer to do my install, because houses are always a variable (the studs in my wall above the fireplace don't go all the way down?!)... but I figured it out. In the end, VERY happy with the mount, and I'm glad i was able to get it adapted to my specific variables and needs. I would recommend this mount to anyone, especially DIYers! Just be aware there is no adjustment linearly up/down once installed. Not a huge deal, but is that really "full motion"?

Purchased for a 75” patio TV, which has not yet arrived. But I have installed the mount, which is progress. The mount is excellent quality and was easy to mount. The instructions were simple and clear, and the mounting hardware was included. I did install a cedar backer board on the brick and mounted the mount to the backer board. It’s super sturdy. What I like about this mount is the ability to ensure it’s level after installation. Simple twists of a couple of screws is all it takes to ensure it’s perfect on the wall. Nothing is worse that going to all the trouble to mount something precisely and correctly and then being able to detect one side higher than the other once installed. This mount prevents that from happening. Looking forward to getting my TV on the mount! So far, so great. Highly recommended.

I have only just installed the product. So this review is not based on weeks or months of use. But the instructions were clear. And it does seem to be a very well built TV mount. There was no play in any of the swivel points. Everything leveled out nicely. There were no weird problems in installing it. It installed fairly easily, as easily as one could hope for with regards to this type of mount. Beware, that it is a heavy device. Once I had the holes drilled, lifting by myself and keeping in place was doable, but could be a little difficult for a smaller person. It's heavy, because it's built well. While I didn't need to use it, there is a leveling feature on it which allows you to rotate it slightly clockwise or counterclockwise to make it level. My only complaint is that there is a bit more space between the back of the TV and the wall that I would have liked. 3-4 inches. But that's the nature of a sturdy full swivel TV mount. With all of the hefty hinges and swing arms behind it, it's unavoidable that there will be space there. I do feel that it is securely mounted. Also, it appears that my 53 pound 65" TV was easily and sturdily supported by this mounting system. But that is well under its rated support range of 125 pounds.

We bought this to hang our 55" TV. We chose this model to fit the bolt pattern on our TV and after finishing the install, we are confident this is a good product. This appears to be well made and good quality. The mount is packaged very well, we had no concerns anything inside was damaged, and there is a great selection of screws and spacers. The lag bolts were good quality. The instructions are the best : clear, well written, good pictures, and they have some fun too. As the product claims, this is very easy to install. The template is accurate and makes this a quick job (once you find the centre of your studs). If you are unsure at all, watch the installation video - it's only a few minutes long and is a reliable demonstration of all the steps. The mount moves smoothly when pulled away from the wall and pushed back in. Great options for extending out from the wall, tilting down, changing viewing angle - all the product descriptions for range of motion are accurate and easy to adjust.

I poured over many reviews and Q and A's for all kinds of different TV mounts on Amazon, google searching "Best Of" and review sites, checking out many big-box stores, etc etc. and finally decided on ECHOGEAR. I'm glad I did. The price was right, the mount is super sturdy, and the instructions are crystal clear. The company also has a great sense of humour. All big wins! Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. The instructions are excellent. This mount is sturdy! I love the fact that it extends out 22" - just what I was looking for - a good solid mount that retracts very close to the wall, yet extracts way out so I can turn my TV to see it from the other room (while making supper or eating at the table). I've included photos with my new 55" Samsung TV on it. We'll be looking for a nice table to go underneath the TV now and repurpose the old stand. A nice cable cover for the wall and things will look even better. I purchased this so I have the option of putting a much larger (and heavier) TV on it in the future. My TV is in very safe hands - this thing ain't going nowhere!
