This little sharpening tool has become my best friend. I have sharpened all of my knives, scissors, and every single thing in the house that needs sharpening, and more. It is perfect and easy to use. I even used it to sharpen the blade on my lawnmower. We are not sponsored or getting paid for this review, but we have to say this is worth every penny. The tool is useful and light weight; however, it is likely to take practice to get a half decent edge on a blade with this, and will probably need to be stropped. The Fero rod is fairly good for its size. The diamond file is very coarse and I feel would have benefited with being a lot finer. Overall OK if weight is a real issue, but it is likely to be used rarely (at least by me).

This goes everywhere with me when on outdoor pursuits, and complements my everyday carry. The tungsten fibre quickly gives you a great edge with the ceramic function offering some fine honing if required. The round file gives serrated edges a fast sharp edge and the fire starter is the icing on the cake. Hopefully, I will never need the emergency whistle, which is plenty loud to attract attention. A great companion to have on your outdoor trip. Highly recommend it.

Ok, I've owned the other one of these by the company staying with an "S". Had it for years from the days when I was active duty. This is one performs like that but better. It is larger so big hands, small hands ... Whatever, it will be very comfortable using. The added spark rod is a plus. If your blade needs a touch up stick to the ceramic. It does a fine job of getting it sharp. If your knife is a edc all purpose, in need of serious TLC....use the coarse then ceramic. This is great for field use! Used it on my machete and my fishing filet knife no issues.
