PROTECT 5lb bag

I originally bought Purity Coffee PROTECT because I kept hearing that drinking 2 to 4 cups of coffee a day may lower your risk of dying from liver disease, and I wanted to be more proactive about my health. The fact that this one is marketed as high antioxidant made it feel like an easy upgrade. It is a light to medium roast, super smooth, and not bitter at all. The beans smell fresh right out of the 5 pound bag, and it brews a clean, balanced cup that does not taste burnt or acidic. After drinking it daily for a couple of weeks, I genuinely look forward to my morning cups. It feels good knowing I am doing something small that could support my liver long term. Compared to typical grocery store light roasts, this tastes fresher and less harsh on my stomach. I brew it in my drip machine and sometimes as a pour over, and both ways come out smooth. If you are already a coffee drinker and want one that feels a little more intentional health wise, this is an easy switch.

This is some yummy stuff! We were looking to replace folgers because big brands, and frankly most coffee brands that are cheap use fillers, flash roasting, and unsustainable practice, so we tried this wanting to make healthier daily habits, this tastes better and is highly recommended.

This coffee is delicious and doesn't give me the jitters. pricey but, in my opinion, but well worth it. I use less and get great energy.

My change to this coffee was prompted by hearing about its quality and lack of mold in addition to it's higher level of antioxidants. This is all about trying to increase health overall. The taste was a change from my previous coffee, more acidic, but well worth it and it seems to be benefiting my immune system this winter.

** UPDATE To Original Review - the company reached out to me and provided a remedy for the product - I appreciate this as I did really like the dark roast of this brand and will purchase again. Thank you for standing behind your product. Flavor very unusual - we liked the dark roast from this brand so I ordered the large size of medium roast thinking it would just be not as strong. It has an odd flavor and doesn't really taste like coffee. Item is not returnable / exchangable so it is not worth purchasing the larger size. I should have stayed with the dark roast. Wish I could have just exchanged the product.

Buyer beware, I have been ordering this product for years and I just opened my November shipment and it's underweight and not containing the volume of beans that I normally get. This is a great product, but this was shocking to get a reduced amount.

Great flavor, wonderful smell, no bitterness

We love purity coffee and rotate between all but the decaf. The 5 lb bag keeps the been fresh and lasts our household about a month. Not all beans are suitable for my brand of coffeemaker and gums up the workings but never an issue with Purity Coffee as uses no additives. The Protect formula is our favorite and by using subscribe and save receiving a new bag each month. We firmly can see a difference not only in the coffee taste but in how we feel using this brand. So many coffees are stored improperly and subject to mold and mycotoxins, the more you educate yourself the scarier the story. I have noted that several people in the health field recommend this coffee and after trying competitive pure coffees always return to Purity.Do you and your family/friends a favor and treat yourself to a coffee that is good for you rather than a harmful commercial grade. I feel it is a facto in my metabolic health and healing and meeting my weight loss goals.
