Scorpion Chili Powder Spice Seasoning Trinidad Moruga Red Tail

My reason for this product purchase - I have high blood pressure but NEED a spicy kick to my meals. It's that simple... however, every spicy sauce, these days, has a high salt content. Especially where I like my heat level with food. I can easily quadruple my salt intake using practically anything spicy. Also, all the added ingredients contribute to a level of frustration when it comes to the food I eat. I have a clean diet, and needed the purce spice. No additives. I was spending a small fortune buying the hottest peppers I could find locally and then blending them all up for my own pepper paste - but the heat wasn't where I like it. I read the reviews on this product and have a thorough working knowledge of the Scoville Scale and where the most intensely hot peppers land on it. The Scorpion Pepper was the world's hottest pepper, not that long ago. I saw this ground pepper as something that would save me money and simply give me the heat I desire. To me, I thought it would be a WIN - WIN, however, I have been disappointed with other products in the past. So, I sceptically decided to give it a go. My experience with this product - After reading the reviews - I found most reviewers, who took the time to do so, cautioned people about 'taking it slow' with this ground pepper. "A little goes a long way", was frequently repeated among the reviews. And so, I did. I sprinkled the pepper, as one would with black pepper at a meal with friends or family. I could taste it and feel some warmth but it wasn't quite where I wanted it to be. A few sprinkles later I found myself using a dish towel to control my watering eyes, sweating brow, and I guzzled the water. My doctor says I need more water in my diet - and this is how I do it. I actually used intensely hot peppers, years ago, to help me quit smoking. I craved a cigarette? I ate a pepper! It didn't take me long to be smoke free but now I'm addicted to hot peppers. Way better for my health! I enjoyed the endorphin rush with this product, drank plenty of water and loved the taste of the Scorpion Pepper, as I have had it before. This product is uncorrupted with additional ingredients, fillers, sugar, salt, vinegar - it's pure pepper! I bought my first shaker a few months ago and I have yet to eat half of it, despite the fact - I use it with practically everything I consume. ITS THAT HOT!!! It is delicious and pairs well with any meal - where I want heat. It's an even heat and lasts! The label on the bottle may be a bit underwhelming in its simplicity but that is my one and ONLY caveat! This supplier gives you an honest, no frills product. You want heat? Can you handle the heat??? Come get it! This is an outstanding product for the price and I'm thrilled I gave it a shot! When I run out, I WILL BUY MORE!!! I have also recommended it to all my "Pepper-head" friends and not one among them has been disappointed! Enjoy!

Great pepper powder! Hot with nothing overwhelming to cover the flavor of the tea it's in. I use this scorpion pepper in my masala, Constant Comment Green and fruit teas to spice them up for me. The burn is good for my allergies and for the feel-good release in my brain. Excellent stuff.

I use this to "heat up" jars of salsa, used for my burritos. It takes about 1-1.5 tablespoons to bring it up to where I like it.

The pepper powder produces a nice kick and goes a lot further than sauces. I primarily use it to spice up plain tortilla chips.

In my cabinet at all times. I put it on almost everything. Almost every meal. My favorite. Just hot enough without being to hot for me.
