Super Dense Soft Slicker Brush for Thick and Long Fur Dogs - Grooming Brush for Fluff, Shedding, Tangles on Goldendoodles - 25mm (1")

I just received the LBMBAIC slicker brush for Poodles and Goldendoodles (Blue version) and it is a winner! I purchased a variety of slicker brushes, some rather expensive from other famous Dog Grooming Companies, which I had to put aside and stop using because of the very sharp needles they display, making our grooming session a painful experience for my little dog. I own a Cava-Poo-Chon and his coat is very "cottony" yet curly, (for the lack of a better description), matts easily and needs just the right tool to detangle the matts and fluff up his fur, yet does not rake and scratch his skin. By using the rejects on my own skin of my fore arm I quickly found which brush made the grade and which one did not. I think grooming sessions are a primary bonding session for a dog and his/her owner; it needs to be done but does not mean a visit to the Torture Chambers! I like to keep our sessions upbeat and rewarding, not with tons of treats but with my softest voice of reassuring and praise. I also keep grooming times short in duration, no hour long "sit still and be quiet" dramas. The perfect tool to keep things light and pleasant is a useful brush which does the job painlessly and effectively in the shortest of times because dogs (and cats) have an acute memory and hour-long grooming sessions are not at the top of their preferred list of quality time spent with the person they love and look up to. The LBMBAIC brush does not scratch my dog's skin after testing it on my own arm, it is very comfortable to hold and let the pins do the work. The brush really gets deep into the fur and keeping the strokes light and upward, legs are done in no time. I intend to order another of their brushes for my dog's head and chest because the slicker brush is a bit large for my 15 lb boy. We just finished our ritual in no longer than 15 minutes, my Little Man looks great and feels proud to hear he is "the Best" with much of the success and credit going to The LBMBAIC Slicker Brush (Blue version) Heartily recommended.

This is similar to the brush my groomer uses on my dog. The bristles bend enough to prevent pulls and they remove loose hair easily. My dog is much happier being brushed with this type and I can tell that he is enjoying his daily brush now that I have the best brush for his curly coat. It's easy to use and the price was good too.

I have 3 exotic Shorthairs at roving cat cattery, which means my life is equal parts adorable and covered in fur. I've owned slicker brushes before—standard ones, the kind that make you feel like you're gently raking leaves off a nervous squirrel. But exotic shorthairs? Their coats are dense little pillows of lies. Plush, thick, and just waiting to trap every loose hair like a lint hoarder. Enter this slicker brush. Not just any brush. This one has extra long bristles—like it came prepared to go spelunking into coat caves and drag out secrets. I’d been using a greyhound comb for ages, which mostly just pulled, made them pout, and left me apologizing like I broke their trust. But this brush? Magic. Pure, fluffy, hair-releasing magic. The first time I used it, I expected the usual side-eyes and dramatic tail flicks. Instead, they leaned in. Purred. One of them actually rolled over and asked for more. I got enough loose fur off David to knit him a second David. They looked like show cats afterward. Fluffed, gleaming, slightly smug. Miss Bojangles hugged it. Wally crossed his front paws like a gentleman at the spa. I think David proposed marriage, but I told him the brush is part of the staff now, and fraternization is discouraged. It’s officially the only brush I reach for now. It doesn’t pull. It doesn’t snag. It glides, cleans, and basically whispers, “I got this” while I nod approvingly like a hair salon manager on her third espresso. 10/10. Will probably hoard extras in case they ever stop making them. If this brush ever retires, so do I.

I was seeking a brush that would effectively prevent matting in my cockapoo, Sophia Loren. She has consistently exhibited discomfort during grooming sessions since she was a puppy. A previous grooming experience, involving the use of a comb, resulted in significant distress for her. Over time, I have experimented with numerous brushes to maintain the quality of her coat. I can affirm that this particular brush is notably gentle on both her and her fur, consistently eliminating all matting. I have rated this product with four stars, as it represents the most effective brush I have utilized to date.

I love it. It didn’t hurt the dog. It burst great.
