Remote Control Outlet (1 Remotes+ 1 Front Outlet)

My morning routine includes a cup of coffee first thing. Now that I am retired I don’t have a set time to get up so it was a wait, standing at the coffee maker for the coffee to brew. Researched for a wireless outlet rated for coffee makers. Found the Dewenwils remote switch and solved the wait time. The outlet is rated for use with countertop appliances (125 volt, 15 amps). That rating handles a coffee maker safely. Our bedroom is 65 feet away from the kitchen with 3 walls between them. The remote functions flawlessly to turn on the outlet. I wake up and turn on the coffee maker with the remote before getting out of bed! Coffee is almost finished brewing when get to the kitchen. The outlet has an ON-OFF button so I don’t need to be in the bedroom to turn off the outlet remotely. I also have one for turning off the bedroom lamp so I don’t need to get out of bed when I am ready to go to sleep (great for those cold nights). I plan use another wireless remote outlet this winter to turn on a space heater in the morning in the bathroom rather than have the furnace automatically turn on and heat the house an hour before I need just the bathroom warm. PROs: Max watt rate (1875) for standard outlet. Excellent remote range. Outlet on/off button. Small outlet foot print. Easy setup. Low price. CONs: Remote only controls one outlet. 8/22/26: Found out that Dewenwils does have a product with a single remote and three outlets. This will be next purchase.

I have these on every lamp. We don’t realize how often we reach to find a knob to turn on a lamp across the room or behind a chair, etc . It is so easy to push a button and instantly a light comes on or goes off. My husband laughed at first but he loves them too. I gave one as a gift for an elderly person ( my age) . They were so happy. ❤️

Pleased with this purchase. Ideal for a room/ bedroom size for hard to reach lamps. If you need one for a different larger area a strength would be better. It is specified in the description however.

Works great! I used this to hang up Christmas lights in my office- so I didn't have to keep moving things to un-plug them. The product does have a noticeable click when you turn it on and off, which does give me a little bit of a anxiety. However I have had these for about 4-3 months now and I have yet to encounter a real issue beyond that. It is a little thick and is not flush with the wall but this was expected. Overall all if your looking to make something like Christmas lights last longer and not have to "rip them out the wall" every time you wish to stop using them this is perfect!

Exactly what I wanted. No more fumbling in the dark for a light switch

This is my third purchase for this product. It is so easy to plug in and use. I have two small fans plugged in and one lamp. All the plugs are difficult to reach and the on/off switches are awkward to get to. This plug is inexpensive and works perfectly. I’ve been using the first one I bought for at least 18 months with no issues.

I'm giving this 4 stars because the remote has a very limited range of around 5 or 6 feet and you must have it pointed directly at the outlet. But it works for what I wanted it for. I work in a confined area at my job and there's an oscillating desk fan on top of a tall cabinet that is hard to reach to turn on and off. So now I can just click the remote to shut it off at the end of the shift.

I bought this to control the dust collector in my woodshop. The collector draws up to 15 amps and this outlet control manages that without problems. Installation is trivial and the remote comes with a battery installed. The switch on th edust collector is close to the ground and the collector itself tucked into a corner, so the remote on/off is a true upgrade in convenience with not much expenditure.

I like these remote control power. My micro vac becomes more convenient to use. Don't need my phone for remote on/off.

Am using with an old computer monitor that I converted to a TV with a straming device. But it did not have a remote control as pc monitors never do. So this did the trick for me. I don't have to walk up and manually turn it on anymore.
