Easy and reliable
For the first time in three years this perfect little timer stopped working! Fortunately, I was smart enough to discover that it was out of batteries. Now it's once again perfect: simple to program and adjust settings with the seasons, leak-proof and absolutely reliable.

Applicable for high-pressure supplies
I like the ease of setup and general robust construction. I purchased this valve solely because of its high-pressure capability. The manual only claims 120PSI, but the Amazon listing claims 180PSI. We reliably have a 125PSI supply, with spikes above 140PSI. So far, no issues. The valve came with a roll of Teflon tape, that I never needed. I've had no leaks at either attachment point, nor in the valve itself. I wish that I'd noticed that a brass version was available, but I've had no issues so far with the plastic version. This is definitely an RTFM device. Many have complained about leaks. The manual clearly outlines how to prevent leaks. (Spoilers: with a new valve, or one that has been stored for any length of time, the user needs to manually operate the valve several times before use.) My personal recommendation: use only lithium AA batteries for this device. Alkaline AA batteries tend to leak. With the new 0% mercury mandates, they leak even more frequently. Normally, the CO2 in the atmosphere will neutralize the potassium hydroxide electrolyte into an inert powder. In the sealed, waterproof environment of this device's battery compartment, the leaked electrolyte will rapidly destroy the device.

Doesn't last long (UPDATED: Didn't last long but company is replacing)
It almost made it through 2 seasons but suddenly started eating batteries within 24 hours and stopped functioning. I would recommend trying another brand. UPDATE: After I left my review, a representative of the company reached out regarding my review and wrote the following: "We sincerely apologize for this disappointing experience. Our technical team has reviewed this high‑power‑drain failure, and potential causes are listed below: 1. Water intrusion into the battery compartment, causing terminal corrosion and excessive battery drain. 2. Internal circuit board aging caused by long‑term outdoor humid environment, leading to short‑circuit‑like high power draw. 3. Mixing different types or ages of batteries, triggering abnormal power consumption. To make this right for you, we would like to send you our upgraded 1‑zone watering timer as a free replacement. This unit features full brass inlet & outlet ports as well as internal brass pipelines. The brass material brings key benefits: better corrosion resistance for long‑term outdoor use, effectively prevents water‑induced internal rust, reduces the risk of circuit damage and abnormal power drain." I don't live in a high-humidity environment and there was no corrosion on the battery terminal, so that's not the issue. I also do not mix and match battery brands. I buy the same brand I've been using for years. That's not the issue either. I stow my timer away during the fall & winter rainy seasons. There was condensation on the inside panel of the digital display that suddenly appeared when this problem started. I suspect there was some sort of internal leak? Anyway, I give the company props because they sent me the upgraded replacement described in the message. I haven't received it yet, but have a confirmation email showing it has been shipped. Nice to see a company who stands behind their product and provides good customer service.

This Rainpoint is on pount!
This is my first Rainpoint timer and I'm glad I bought it. It was very easy to program and it works like a charm. I couldn't be happier with it.

Maybe again
Started to leak maybe after a month. I thought it could be related to water pressure but turns out internal mechanics. Either way, it was easy to set up and install, just didn’t last really long. Update: I was sent an updated version and it has been working so much better. I’ve been using it the past couple of days and no issues previous reported

Helpful
I bought this with their soaker hose. My husband and I made a last minute trip to go out of town during a hot July week. I had tomato plants that needed to be watered everyday. This did the trick. Set it and leave. Tomato’s were perfect when we got back. Super helpful product.
