This concrete patch was easy to use, durable so far, and the drying time was quick. We painted over this caulk in spots and its texture took the paint well. The first tube we bought was quite a deal, but in a week’s time, the price almost doubled.

I bought the single 5.5 ounce tube of pre-mixed concrete patch to “glue” the head that broke off of a concrete duck yard ornament. I followed the directions to kneed the tube and then used it pretty much like glue. I applied the patch to both pieces and held them together for a minute or so, wiped off the excess and tried to smooth it over as best I could. It worked perfectly!!!! It held the duck’s head on without me needing to tape or secure it while it dried. It seems very strong and good. You can see the seam of patch because it’s a gray color and a little more course texture than the smooth white concrete duck I was repairing. But it doesn’t matter because I intended to paint the duck anyway. After painting the duck, it is not possible to tell it was ever broken. I am very happy with this concrete patch. It was very convenient to use, worked well, and reasonably priced. The 5.5 ounce tube is for small jobs. It’s just a little larger and wider than an ordinary tube of toothpaste—so not much patch material inside. But far more than I needed for my repair job. I posted a video and photos to show you the repair process that I used and the “after” result. I am very happy with this pre-mixed concrete patch and recommend it. Stuff works pretty well to fill in gaps, holes, and cracks in cement. I used my finger to "smash" it in tight places then smooth it out. I'm currently letting it dry on some outdoor concrete in the middle of February so I'm hoping it cures ok. The container itself had a cut or split in the plastic which caused a hole on the side/top near the lid, and this caused about 1/4 of my entire tub to become hard and unusable. So I'm disappointed in this obviously.

Used this to patch a moderately large chip in a sidewalk. Wish they sold a smaller pint size since I didn't need this much. This is the smallest size you can get as far as I know, which is 1 quart or 4 cups. It comes in a plastic tub container with instructions to use a screwdriver to help you open and a hammer to close it. You can open and close it by hand, but I get why it might sometimes arrive open by mail since the plastic lid is easy to deform if something lifts it up. My plastic tub arrived fine and the material was not open or dried out. I got the package with the plastic knife set. You could probably buy this cheaper in a big-box store, so you're paying extra for the convenience of delivery. It's a lot lighter in texture than I was expecting. Other reviews call it "fluffy," which I would agree is the best description of it. I thought it would be denser, but it has the texture of cake mousse. I do wish it was a little denser so it would be easier to scoop and pack into deeper cracks. It does have a tendency to stick a little to gloves and spreading implements. I used the plastic knife set, but maybe it's easier to spread with a metal knife. I was worried it wouldn't set due to the texture, but it seemed pretty hard and dry 24 hours after the patch. I did apply it on a summer day where temps were between 70s and 80s. Didn't shrink, but it seemed to sink down a bit and "level" into the crack after 24 hours. I could probably do another layer, but I'm waiting to see how it holds up to rain and whether it will "melt off" like some negative reviews mentioned. So far, so good though.
