Sterilite is consistently good quality at a affordable price point. These totes are unique in size and unsual color that make great personal private storage bins that fit easily on shelves. While clear bins are great for managing items. These are excellent to store items that one might want to be private or discrete on the contents.

I was looking for a tote that was a specific size. This one fit the bill. Seems well made and should last a long time. It is a bit of a chore to latch the lid, but I expect that to get better with use. Happy with this purchase.

I own about 30 of these in all the various sizes. I have had some of the larger version of these lids crack if you overload and stack too many heavy bins. I'm positive I overload the large ones regularly, but the small ones will fill before they're too heavy. Great for small shelves above all of our closets to keep things tidy. I've got a few of the smallest and the next size up organizing stuff for the house and garage. all manner of zip ties various pool plumbing fittings paracord and rope splicing tools tape - electrical, duct, painters automotive electrical/scan tools and multimeter pistol cleaning supplies the list goes on They all fit great on the small shelves in my garage and with the addition of a label maker, one glance gets you where you need to be.

I was looking for Sterilite containers of this size and shape, found these, and was interested because they were well-reviewed and described as “rugged” and “industrial.” With those descriptors came a slightly higher price at $70+ for six. They are actually sturdier than the average Sterilite or similar plastic container. The mediocre three star review is not because they are terrible, but because they’re far from rugged or industrial, and I’m not sure they’re worth the extra money. To that point, one lid arrived cracked. The finish is poor, with lots of untrimmed plastic on many of the edges, from the molding process. The latches don’t feel any tougher than normal and the walls of the container are similar to most Sterilite products. They’re not bad at all — but they’re not much tougher, as I was hoping, and I don’t believe worth the extra cost.

I was wanting to get things organized and these helped me get the job done. I wish they had been clear, but the price on those were way too high. I just taped notes to them to know what was in them. They are well built, but be careful not to pinch yourself when trying to unlock them the first time to put the lid on.

The lid locks very secure. I really like this tote. Heavy duty plastic, not the thinner type.
