Great item. Needed spacers cushions for a project and this worked perfectly.

Used to seal around the door of my old shed to create a vapor barrier between inside and outside so it keeps the moisture out. Seems to be working very well only went through one winter so far with it and the adhesion is great and the water's been kept out of the door.

I purchased the rubber strip to put on the bottom of my lift chair to stop it from sliding on the PVP flooring. It didn't work. Although the rubber strip didn't work for my application, it's still attached the chair. Depending on the application, I would recommend it.

I installed the tape for protection on the edge of a 2x4 located on the basement floor (close to the floor drain)for a support wall. Just incase water may seep up from the drain. This tape is a nice protection so the wood doesn't get water damage.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I thought at first that I was going to have to send this back. The red strip was peeling rubber off with it and so it made it unusable. Finally, after several cuts, I was able to peel the red strip off to reveal the stick strip. I just let the strip peeled and cut it that way. I have twelve metal solar lanterns that I place around my patio in the summer, and I have replaced their solar panels several times over the years. Unfortunately, I have yet to find replacements in the correct size, so the panels slide around and fall out if a lantern is knocked over, and I have had some of the panels become damaged that way. I used small pieces of this on two sides of the underside of the solar panel to make them fit snuggly into the lanterns, and once they could stick, it worked perfectly.

Excellent quality materiel, used to create a gasket on the lid of a new aluminum truck bed tool box that did not have gaskets (also from Amazon). Bonds well to smooth substrates. Appears durable and resilient. Easy to work with, peel and stick backing has strong adhesion. Thickness as specified. Good value to keep your stuff dry. Cuts clean with sharp blade.

There is so much of this thick adhesive that this product cannot take any shear force. The adhesive slides around like crazy. It is just thick goo. I had to remove all the adhesive for my application. 18+ grams of goo in total. The rubber seems to spec, however.

Good stuff. Its thinner than the 3M double-sided tape which I think is a big plus (unless you need the thickness).

If you've used 3m products with their glue then this product's glue is no match as it does not stick (to cleaned, painted metal in this case) very well. Adding some heat from a heat gun seems to help a bit.

I had a hard time finding rubber tape locally so I ordered off of Amazon. Was a great deal for $10
