What size radio can I use with this kit? Please don't just say a double din, because double din comes in difference sizes

Standard double din size is 7inches all the bigger ones are still that size for mounting but screen is bigger at the end towards user. The way the corvette dash is setup is pretty snug so I personally did a 7inch the stadard size for clean fit and finish. You can do the 8 or 10inch but it will have to stick out past the dash and may cover vents or hvac controls a bit.

Will a 7 inch screen fit this product?

Yes it will, it replaces your existing console cover and has you cut out old support bracket so you can relocate mounting holes for double din radio. I have a 7inch pioneer double din in my corvette currently.

Will a 6.2” Sony Apple play fit in this kit? I’m worried about gaps.

The opening is 4 x 8. The 6.2 is considered a din and a 1/2

How do you fill the gaps once installed?

Mine fit with approx the same gaps as the factory dash, and the head unit (kenwood) fit perfectly in the opening.

I ended up using some interior paint to better(nearly perfectly) match the rest of my C5 interior. It is missing the screw hole in the cigarette lighter area, but not a big deal to make one. I also used a bit of low profile weather stripping to fill the top Tim gap and it looks awesome for a garage install. Fits my 2660-NEX perfectly

Broken parts

When the package arrived it looked like the box was ok however the unit inside one of the tabs which holds the entire unit to the car was actually broken and the unit is unusable so I can not give a real review as I never had the chance to use the unit. I have to return it.
