Bought and installed this for my partner. Seller was excellent, with messages asking if all was ok, and whether I needed any help or support for the doorbell with installation and use. Was straightforward to set up with home wifi and mount the device on the wall by the front door. Video and audio capture is excellent and so far it’s working perfectly. My partner loves the way you can use a man’s voice on the app when talking to someone at the door (great when home alone). App seems to have great functionality and is customisable to set sensitivity and detection areas. Added a high speed micro SD card (128gb) for recording and playback. The SD card must be formatted to FAT32 high is straightforward (the app offered to format the card when I put it in, so we did this to ensure full compatibility).I feel this device is great value for money (and no nasty ongoing subscription fees like another certain doorbell brand!) . Certainly recommend!

So we bought the Aosu doorbell after reading the good reviews on amazon. We were using the Ring system until they decided to get greedy and start raising their charges. We refuse to pay subscription charges for a doorbell.The Aosu doorbell arrived very well packaged. Inside the box we had the doorbell itself, a wall mount, charging cable, fixing screws, a small screwdriver and a release pin used to remove the camera from the wall mount when recharging.Fixing and setting up the doorbell was fairly straightforward and took me around 15 minutes to get everything working as it should. A lot easier and quicker to set up than the Ring doorbell was.Video quality is really good. You can adjust the video quality from SD to UHD and are you able to set the sensitivity of the movement sensors which is a nice little touch.Unfortunately, after about 2 weeks use, we received a parcel from amazon while we were out. The amazon driver rang the doorbell and we answered using the app on my mobile but we were unable to understand a word he was saying. The only thing we heard was a loud audible high pitched screeching noise. Seemed to be some sort of feedback noise issue but it was painful and annoying.I contacted Aosu via email and I have to say, their response was excellent. I received a reply within a couple of days and a replacement unit was sent out a few days after that.We have replaced the camera but we cannot comment yet as to the sound quality as it was only replaced a few days ago and we are still waiting for someone to ring the bell while we are out and about.To summarise, the only niggles I have with the camera are as follows although I suspect that some issues are due to our internet connection speed and not the fault of Aosu or the unit itself.1 - Very often, the camera recording starts late and/or not long enough which means we are missing a few seconds of recording when someone passes by the door.2 - There does still seem to be a little bit of a screeching noise with the new unit when we have tested it. Seems to be some sort of feedback issue with the speaker and/or microphone.Good points are as follow:1 - The unit is excellent value for money. We paid around £70 on amazon and the quality of the product is very high. The unit itself looks good and is of a high quality glossy black plastic with blue movement light. Much more attractive than the Ring equivalent but about the same size.2 - Picture quality is really very good. As good as the Ring doorbell, if not better.3 - Battery life has been very good so far although we have only owned the unit for a couple of months now.4 - The device has a loud tamper alarm which can only be deactivated with the mobile app.5 - It's free to use. There are no subscription charges unless you choose to pay for the cloud based storage via the app. I purchase a very cheap 32GD micro SD card and inserted this into our homebase to save any recordings.Ring (and Amazon who own them) should learn from this and hang their heads in shame for screwing their customers over on their products.Overall, we are happy with our purchase. It isn't perfect but for what we paid, we think it is excellent value for money and on the whole, it does do the job.Hopefully, Aosu will release future updates to rectify some of the minor issues we have been having? If it wasn't for the sound issues I would have easily awarded 5 stars.

Not a bad camera door bell and on the face of it is good value. Really easy to set up and good quality footage. The only thing letting this device down is the claimed battery life of around 180 days. That is very optimistic, I would estimate 50-60 days is more realistic, but it might stretch a little further in warmer weather, time will tell.**Update** had this camera since October and the only flaw is the battery life. I thought like most batteries, the warmer weather would maybe help, it really hasn't. The battery was at 3% after 50 days, less than one third of the claimed life.So I contacted Aous through their app and their response was very fast. Lynette in their customer support team was very helpful and they have sent me out a new doorbell. I am now happy to report the new camera doorbell is a vast improvement on battery life. It's unlikely to reach the claimed up to 180 days, but is on course presently to reach around 130-140 days, I am happy with that.

I replaced an unreliable wireless door bell with this Aosu unit. The backplate ideally requires screw mounting, but be aware that the screws supplied are not very strong amd are easy to wring off.Setup and connection to my WiFi was straight forward (at the second attempt) with the voice prompts and QR codes working well.The quoted camera field of vision seems optimistic, but picture quality is excellent, even in poor light. Sound is 'good enough' but I've yet to check what it's like for the person at the front door. The app works well on my android S10Inevitably, the app tries to steer you away from local storage and towards their cloud storage plans.The unit didn't arrive with the expected micro SD card, so I bought a micro SD of the maximum storage allowed. This Sandisk drive arrived formatted to exFAT which was not recognised by the base unit. Windows wouldn't allow a reformat to FAT32, probably due to its capacity.Aosu Customer support were excellent, and they quickly had a replacement smaller (8G) FAT32 drive posted out to me with their compliments. Events are now reliably recorded locally and easily accessable from the app.I'm very happy with the battery life so far, but it is early days. (2 weeks use)So far the unit has been reliable and the bell is loud enough to do the jobfor which it was bought. Highly Recommended.

Excellent, very easy to install, very clear instruction- a dummy guide!Image quality and night vision very good - can’t complain at all.
