First off, the packaging done by Amazon on this product is completely unacceptable. If you are expecting this item to arrive without a scratch, buy it locally. It was essentially wrapped once in a plastic wrap, no cardboard, and the hardware was package taped to the hitch. It weighs about 40 pounds and UPS is not known to wear white gloves and place its packages on pillows. So you can use your imagination on how this arrived. It was scratched in a few places, scuffed, and the paint had actually chipped in a few locations. Not too happy with how it arrived, but it was going underneath my car, so I didn't put too much of a stink about it.This product went on a 2009 Toyota Venza V6 with dual exhaust. This requires two people, or one very patient person with a floor jack. I also found that I needed to drop the exhaust. I have read that others have been able to do this without having to drop the exhaust, but I have a feeling they may have had the 4cyl, or had two people to help. Save yourself the headache and just remove the exhaust from the hangers. I was able to install the unit myself, by placing a floor jack at the hitch point and raising it. I could then get the brackets near where they needed to be so I could start a bolt on each side. This unit is pretty heavy, so expect to do a bit of wrestling to get the bolts threaded properly.When all was installed and put back together, the hitch fits quite nicely. It's not obtrusive and flows well, unlike some boxy hitches that seem to protrude from the car too much. I haven't towed anything with it yet, but I don't have any worries. It will do the job fine.

1. The hitch arrived in a large box with little wrapping/padding. Box was in bad shape on arrival as you can imagine with a 70 lb sharp object banging around in it, and the included parts had gone missing (attachment bolts, shims, etc.)2. The hitch had been apparently been previously returned as you can see in the photos. The hitch had not been properly primed at the factory and large clumps of paint were falling off, so it would have rusted on first use.3. Look, these things happen, so I contacted Draw-Tite Customer Service both through their website and by phone, hoping to work something out, but there was no response to messages. So we returned it through Amazon and will buy a different brand.

I used to install these for a living years ago. Back then, the hitches would arrive strapped to a pallet or individually in cardboard boxes. I also had a hitch jack back then. The hitch for the Venza showed up on my driveway with no protective packaging except for cardboard sleeves on the main tube. The powder coating was scraped off to bare metal on the edges. I had to order a can of undercoating to touch up. Hitches will rust. However, every bit of preventative measures help. I backed my car up onto ramps and used an inverted Home Depot bucket to balance the hitch as I installed. No drilling or cutting is required. An extra set of hands helps. I threaded the bolts on the driver's side and then the passenger's. A cordless impact gun makes quick work on the passenger's side. 2 of the driver's side bolts require hand tools. The round tube hitches tend to be lighter that the square tube.

Great hardware, very easy to install (38 lbs, easier with two people). However, packing is terrible. Therefore, you will expect scratches and light damage.

Product came in bubble wrap and cardboard, which was also in a large box. I was able to install without a car lift, but if you know someone that has one, extra clearance while installing would be beneficial. I'd reccomend installing with 2 people as the dispersed weight makes it awkward. Hardest part of the install was getting the bolts back in for the exhaust mounts because the hitch frame takes away space to work in. Quality seems great. Can't wait to use with a hitch rack and possibly a pop-up later on.

Nice Hitch for any Venza. Goes up and bolts on real quick. 20-30 minutes. Only problem I found is Amazon website said it would not fit my 2009 Venza. Bought it any way because Drawtite lists #75663 for the 09. Sold the 2009 and bought a 2014 again the Amazon site said "Will not Fit Your vehicle". Fits just as good as it did on the 09. Save your self the headache follow the instructions, and drop the muffler tail pipe down. Four rubber donuts come off with your hand, no tools required to drop the exhaust. If you have trouble with the donuts lube them with some soap and water or KY jelly.

The hitch is made well. I had spread or stretched it a bit so as to align the bolt holes on the hitch with those on the car frame. Other then that the fit is good and the final product installed looks great.

Ça s`ajuste parfaitement. Je l`ai Installé, seul, sur mon Venza 2016, AWD, double échappement, en 2 heures, avec des moyens minimaux. Notez = J`ai eu besoin d`un adaptateur flexible entre la douille et l`allonge de ma clé à rochet, et j`ai utilisé des blocs de bois pour positionner et supporter le hitch pendant que je le vissais... car il doit peser environ 50 livres.Au final = Très satisfait.

Had to scrape the chassis by wire brush to discover the factory holes and they slid into place perfectly...needed an extra hand to hold the other end of the hitch to be able to start the bolts in place , it was a 15 minute job .
