Works great for golf swing speed, huge and bright numbers, good price
It works great for me to get my golf swing speed. You put it on, the set to MPH, the set to F1 . Two choices for each click, easy. The directions don't help, but not needed anyway, as you can click a couple of times and get it going. And for golf, no directions. I put it about 5 feet perpendicular to target line from my, or back to the side or straight back behind me about 10 feet and get the same reading if I have it set to F1 and MPH. You can click on a voice announcing the result or not if you want. Nice if alone, turn off at a driving range. Also the numbers are hugh and bright, about 3 inches or so, but they look 5 inches they are so bright. Next, I'll try the ball speed, as it will record up to 150mph, which I will fit into, as I'm not pro Scotty calibre at 175MPH. Ha Ha. Sure beats the other up to $300 or so for other machines to check my swing speed. And it gives a little tripod, you don't really need, as it sits perfectly on the ground anyway, but a useful little thing for phone or camera tripod use. And I like it uses AA batteries, but uses little wattage and I haven't had to replace yet, in 6 months of use. I highly recommend it.

Consistently Inaccurate
Radar is consistent but not accurate. I would not use this if you want to test for actual numbers. It is good for progression though.

Increase swing speed.
It did what it’s supposed to do.I use it to check my swing speed. However it has helped increase my swing speed which enables me to hit the ball longer.

Works well for assessing ball speed - fun for family competitions
This is a great device for tracking ball speed (among other things) for casual competitions around the farm. It's been fun for kids and adults to see how fast they can throw. It seems to work well, but can't vouch for accuracy... just for fun. :)

Destroys your pride.
Got this to show a friend that I don't throw as fast as he said. Welp, it turns out I throw slower than even that, so this did a great job of making me doubt all my sporting capabilities. I've tested all the features: mph/kph (use kph to mess with your friends!), voice, fast/slow read mode (fast only registers 25mph and higher), and they all work. I used it to measure sprint speed, baseball throwing speed, and hockey shooting speed. They all showed me about what was expected (except the baseball, apparently I just suck at pitching). It's a handy little thing, doesn't take much room, and sits well. Do note that it takes 5 AA batteries.
