OEMTOOLS 23991 35 Piece Multi-Drive Star Socket Set, Torx Socket Set with EVA Foam Tray, Designed to Fit in Cabinets and Tool Boxes, Easy Identification

I like OEM tools. I like working in 1/4" drive when I can. These torx sockets are very good quality. I like the fact they are made in Taiwan rather than mainland China.

Definitely worth it for $50..Paid for "mint product with opened packaging", for discount price. Unfortunately, not only was the packaging open, the 3/8 T40 socket was broken when I opened the box. Luckily I had a spare socket in my box to fill it's place. I'd say for $50 it's a steal..the Case alone is worth it for organizing. Plus it came with a couple of E-torx I was missing, so this is a perfect back up kit/upgrade when comparing against my 5 year old Pittsburgh set which is missmatched together at this point. I'd also like to mention the OEM TOOLS foam case, perfectly fits in the top of a US general MINI toolbox, which looks sleek

I've had the OEMTOOLS hex bit set 23990 and multi-drive star socket set 23991 in my wishlist for a while now and finally pulled the plug on buying them last week. I have purchased similar sets int he past with great hopes only to be let down when the item arrived. Either the tools themselves were shoddy materials, broke after a few uses, or the containers/cases they came with were less the user-friendly. I am glad I made the purchase this time though. The holding cases they come with are made of tough foam with a black plastic top. Each of the pieces fit very snuggly in the foam and don't move in the slightest when opening or closing toolbox drawers. Each bit is hardened steel with what looks like Chrome-V housing which is the same material most other hand tools use. While they are not up to par found with Snap-On, SK, or other expensive sets, these sets are very capable for the at-home mechanic for a fraction of the price. I would highly recommend these sets to anyone looking to expand their tools at home or in the shop for light use!

Perfect less money than snap on and does the same job.

Overall solid set. it’s alright for professional use. broke a couple after about a couple months of everyday abuse at work, which in my opinion is great for those who need these for their hobbies rather than profession

Broke on first use. Was using a 1/4 drive ratchet too! There was no metal in the transition from the bit to the ratchet. Thin as a coke can. I sent them back asap.

This set is perfect for any german brand technicians tool box. So far they're staying strong and straight and I use them constantly. The base they come on is even good quality. All these for fraction of the tool truck price.

Needed a set of tools for home and occasional use instead of bringing mine home from work. Great quality for the price.

They are pretty tough for little sockets.
