The fit is perfect. Wraps around the back of the console and up on the sides. The front is somewhat exposed so would recommend a screen protector. Fits within dock with care, just as if one would connect without the protection. Nice feel on the joycons. The material flexes and wraps nicely on the joycons. They fit on and off the console without any issues. They even provide some fun thumb grips, but be careful if you have a case, the sticks might be caused to jam due to the increased height of the thumbstick. Yes the back stand and memory card are blocked but using the dock and a TV eliminates the need for a stand. And the protector comes off with little effort if needed. Just what I was looking for in a protector and I would recommend for those who are looking for sleak, easy protection without much fuss. It seems to be durable enough for the thin layer it provides. Most protective cases are such a hassle to install that you end up damaging the product you’re trying to protect. But not this one! This was so easy to install! It took me seconds. Each button and port is left open so you can easily push buttons and plug cords in/out. The cover is just enough height to not mess with button clicking but enough to protect from damage. It stays in place so there’s no sliding around. The back even has a cute little square/plaid design. I didn’t put on the rubber joystick covers because they seemed to be a tight fit, which is great. I just didn’t want to break my joystick trying to force it on. Or maybe it’s because I’ve never installed grippers on joysticks before. Overall, I recommend this product. Easy to install, hassle free, and fits perfect!

Its hard to find a great case for the switch that does everything I want. This one came really close and I like it a lot ! - It is clear so I can see most of my switch design (I have the splatoon version that has things etched into the black on the back), though the design on the case obscures some slightly. - Its pretty thick and feels sturdy -But not too thick to fit into the dock - It fits in pretty easily, not as smooth as if the switch was naked, but without much extra effort - of the d-pad covers I only liked the thinner ones - It lets you keep the cover on without having to remove it to remove the controllers, very nice! - On the back of the controllers the button you have to hold down to remove them from the switch is very small and tiny so its kinda hard to push down with the thickness of the controller case in the way, the only way I could think they could fix this is to make just that area of the controller case thinner or make an oblong opening, its kind of annoying when you want to remove the controllers, but you can usually get at least one easy enough and then use your fingernail to get the other pressed in - Main down side is it does not have any opening for the kick stand!! So to use it with the controllers separately and propping up your switch you have to just take the console case off :( Overall I think it was worth the money and if they could add an opening for the kickstand that would blow it out of the park!

Accident prone human here. This is very much needed. It does have a checkered design to it, specifically on the back, so if you are using this for a special edition switch, some of the design may be covered. It is still transparent though, so its not something I'm really bothered by. Soft cases like these tend to yellow after a while from exposure to sun or just carrying it around, but no yellowing as far as I can see. At the same time, I don't really bring my OLED out of my house unless I am traveling, and even then, I'd play using the pro controller. That said, the case does have a slightly raised grip on the....well joycon grips. It's nicer for ergonomics and makes it easier to hold too. The fit did take a bit to shove on, but it does fit cleanly with some areas uncovered like some slivers around the buttons, sticks, and triggers. Because of the design, it wasn't designed with the kick-stand at the back of the OLED in mind, so its all one cover at the back. Again, don't really use the kick-stand anyways, so don't mind. It is also fully dockable and is actually satisfying when you dock it. Its nice because I don't have to worry too much about actually scratching or jarring the dock or system itself since the case is soft enough to avoid that. Delivery and packaging was fine. Overall, would buy again.

Bought this for my toddler switch and it does a pretty good job holding up! Product arrived as described. Easy to install and works as intended. Definitely worth it and price is super affordable. Was very surprised at how well everything feels and is made. Very nice items for a great price this is a must have for every new switch owner like me! Other than that the kit is fantastic!

This product comes with soft plastic grips that fit over the joycons in one piece. These are wonderful because they allow you to remove the controllers from the unit without having to take off the protective case. The case for the main body of the switch is a harder plastic that prevents scratches. All the holes line up where they should for speakers, buttons, triggers etc. I appreciate the grid/etching pattern in the back gives the switch a light design while still being able to see the actual switch design through it. The switch fits in the dock and charge without needing to remove the case. The case also came with a couple button covers, I liked they had different sizes and feels. My favorite part of this product is the joycon cases and for those alone, I would buy this product again. For the price you won’t be disappointed!

I like this case because it’s clear (note: checker design is very visible on back) and not obtrusive. Would not depend on it for drop protection. It also seems to make the Switch a tight fit in the docking station, so you need to be careful and make sure it’s secure (can’t just drop it in, it’ll get stuck 3/4 the way in and not connect/charge). Also the drawback of loosing the built-in kickstand functionality. The Joy-con covers have a nice, slight, molding to them but don’t improve single-controller playing. I generally would recommend but there’s probably better alternatives out there.

first, I would just like to say that this case is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a case that completely covered the kickstand on the back of my OLED. I literally wanted no access to it because I would like my SD card to be protected and I don't plan on using it for tabletop use at all. It's either handheld or on the TV for me. So this case was perfect for that. also it's very aesthetically pleasing and showcases the colors of your switch perfectly. In my case, my switch is white but I wanted to display that because it's part of my aesthetic. This case is also dockable with no issues, I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on that and maybe for me it was only different because when my switch had no case on it, it was fairly wobbly in the dock, so now that I have a case on it, it fits snug. the joy con cases are also ergonomic which I really enjoy because it is more comfortable than just the flat backs when you are playing handheld. you will have to remove the joycon cases if you would like to play on the controller with the TV but that's not an issue for me because I had to do the same thing with my other switch and it's really not that big of a hassle for me, but everybody has a different opinion. The design on the back of the case doesn't bother me either, I actually kind of like that there's something going on with the back of my switch. I used to have the animal crossing switch so I was used to having a design on it, so, with this case, the checker print is pretty cool in my opinion and simple. The price of this case was also pretty fair for what you get, the piece that snaps onto the initial switch is hard plastic and the joycon cases are a soft material but that doesn't really bother me either, because in my opinion, the texture kind of feels the same because the hard plastic has a soft feel to it. I really think that this was well worth my money and I won't have to worry about getting another case anytime soon considering that I baby my electronics, so I shouldn't have to worry about this case breaking on me anytime soon. I can see the joycon cases yellowing overtime, but if that becomes an issue for me, I can always just order another one. I do play handheld a lot, so it's bound to happen. if you're thinking about buying this case, just go ahead and do it! it's worth it in my opinion!
