Wonderful for cooking ramen, soups, and more.
I use this almost exclusively for making ramen and other soups or canned foods. It's convenient, intuitive, and safe to use in the microwave as the top allows steam to escape while making sure nothing bubbles over or out. The handle makes it so you can easily move it from the microwave to where ever you want to eat at. If you make a big dish you can save half of it and put the other half back in the fridge, in the same bowl, and easily microwave it later. I have nothing but praise for this. I don't leave reviews very often, but I felt I probably should for this one, if you're sitting on the fence just go for it. Oh and for ramen noodles, like the maruchan packages (square packages). I usually break the "corners" off while it's still in the package, then drop the loose bits in the bottom, put the now octagon looking block of ramen on top of that, sprinkle the packet over it, and then fill it up most of the way with water so that the block is floating, throw the lid on and adjust the button to let steam escape and toss in the microwave for 4 minutes, and it's good to go. Once it's out of the microwave I usually let it sit for a few minutes so the noodles absorb more water and become thicker.

10/5. Perfect. I love it.
I might just use this for all my lunches. Somebody mentioned making potatoes, I made soup with meat. It’s so versatile and convenient. Steaming capacity is more than I expected. I made 18oz of soup and it was just over half full. Ease of use, removal, and cooking ability met my expectations. I was able to drink my broth like a cup and I didn’t make a mess, no leaking or dribbles. My can of gumbo said to microwave 2.5 to 3 minutes, I did 2.5 and my soup came out steaming hot, microwave still clean. I love this. It’s perfect for taking to work when I’m too lazy to make a meal. I usually clean my dishes with paper towels and occasionally hand soap before putting it in my lunchbox or backpack to prevent residual liquid or oil from leaking (we only have a bathroom sink and only hand soap) but I’m so confident in this that I’m not even going to dry it. I’ll just put it in my backpack, unwiped and unclean, because I’m confident my backpack will still be clean when I take it home to wash properly.

Amazing ramen noodle and homemade soup reheater.
One of the best purchasing desicions I've ever made. It makes microwave prep simpler than all. I love the snap-on lid and exhaust vent. Easy cleanup. Takes up little space and makes taking soup to the office a no-brainer. I wish I needes two so I could buy another one. No joke; I am a h8ter and stickler review-wise but I had to leave a raving one here. The handle is perfect for slipping your small-handed 4 fingers in or else using the pointer and ring finger with your thumb below to leverage a lift. The contents are not heavy enough to make lifting by the handle uncomfortable. Again, cleaning is instant and the hole at the top is a refreshingly convenient attribute. I'm thinking Christmas gifts this year. 5 stars easy. Consider the largest model. You'll thank yourself for investing in it. You can still make smaller portions in it or scale up when you want.

Simple to use and rather easy to clean.
I used it only a couple of times, but it works well, quality seems good. Quite easy to clean overall. Cleaning the lid is slightly more complicated.

LOVE 'EM! Bought six.
(Reviewing the LARGE size Sistema Mug- 30.4 ounces, although they look alike, they come in several sizes. Check to be sure you are getting the size you want before ordering.) I absolutely LOVE these mugs. Bought a blue one first to take soup to work for lunch. However, found myself using it at home too - for soup, chili, and to store leftovers in the fridge. I have reheated mac and cheese and casseroles as well. Works also for hot or cold beverages. Lots of room for a big beverage AND ice cubes. I have made milkshakes it them. Uses are endless. (These are NOT intended to be leakproof) Snap on lid is great. NO, you can't put liquid in it and turn it upside down and expect it not to leak. I use the lid if storing in fridge or for travel. Just keep it right side up and no problems. I take the lid off in the microwave and use a venting plastic dome type cover just because I don't want to unsnap the lid while it is filled with hot liquid. No brainer. Yes you could unsnap the lid and open the vent and lay the lid on top of the mug in the microwave, but my way seems easier to me. Caution: Anything with tomato in it will stain, so DO NOT BOIL anything in them, just heat gently. Boiling/high heat can damage the plastic according to the manufacturer. Even heating gently, I did get a very SLIGHT red stain in my blue one even though I didn't boil in it, but after using and washing a couple of times, it is now gone! I liked the blue one so much, I bought one in orange, purple, green, pink and red for an even half dozen. Now when I make homemade soup or stew, I can put it in the mugs and I have lunch and or dinner for days. Meal in a mug! (Not sure about freezing in them) I try to use the red, pink, and orange one for tomato based foods. It holds almost a quart, so you can easily make a big bowl of soup without filling it to the top. That and the big handle make it easy to carry from microwave to table without the lid, even a room away. Just don’t trip! Or put the lid on while carrying. Doesn't get hot like a ceramic soup bowl. Handle stays cool and is easy for small hands and big hands alike. The plastic is almost self-cleaning. Nothing liquid based seems to stick to it, especially liquid soups. Washing is just a formality! LOL. Negative reviews seem to me to be largely from individuals who didn’t take the time to read the instructions or who are reviewing their particular seller. Not quite fair. One review I read started out with “You would assume . . .” Seriously? I am fussy, and I highly recommend these mugs. However, I read the instructions before using. Shop around; the prices vary quite a bit. I bought mine on two different websites from several different sellers in order to get the best prices.

Handy Bowl
This bowl is easy to use in the microwave. It's a nice red color, and I can cook tomato soup or spaghetti sauce in it without being concerned about the bowl getting stained from the food. The vent in the lid works well in the microwave also. I haven't had any leakage or spillover from it. It washes easily and is light weight. Sistema makes good quality products, so this bowl should last a long time.

The perfect work lunch bowl
I had one of these that I'd been using at work for a couple of years until I left it in the break room sink overnight and some ********* either stole it or threw it away a few weeks ago. The new one I ordered just came in and I'm happy again. This thing's size and features make it extremely versatile to use at work if you're limited on personal storage space. It's large enough to make noodles, oatmeal, cereal, Huel, soup, frozen meal-prep 1c bricks, etc. without being filled to the brim. If you have tacos or a burrito and they fall apart, just dump them into this bowl and continue - there's room. The clear locking lid is a cool feature too and it has a steam vent. This helps make microwave cooking a little easier and cleaner. It also provides a little bit of extra security when you're shuttling your steaming-hot lunch from the break room back to your desk. Please note that the lid is NOT watertight. If you fill it with soup and toss it in your bag, bad things will happen. Overall, this is an awesome little microwave do-everything bowl. I just checked my order history and my last one was 3 years old before it got stolen. It was going strong and didn't have any damage or defects up to that point. This is good kit.

Could be a tiny bit larger
I bought this to replace a camping pot that I was using at work to heat up the odd lunch on the lunch room stove, as I wanted to use the microwave instead for ease of use. The Sistema Microwave Cookware Noodle Bowl lived up to it's name and performed almost flawlessly. It's a good quality and thickness of plastic, so I hope to see a good bit of use out of it before it gives up and pieces start to break off of it. I was surprised to see that it can go from the microwave into the freezer, not that I think I will be freezing anything inside of it. The clips are very positive, and hold the lid on tightly, although it leaks at the seam when I tipped it over to see how water tight it is. I certainly won't work about water egress while boiling noodles with it in the microwave. The vent in the lid has a positive detent and is easy to use. It is just about the perfect depth to hold 500ml of water and a package of ramen noodles, and my first test with it, I ended up nuking the water and package contents for about 3.5 minutes in my 1000 Watt microwave. There were no problems, no spillage, no clogging of the vent. As you can see from the lid, there was condensate from when the steam turned back into a liquid. I was able to take the just boiled noodles straight out of the microwave with one hand using the handle, which was not hot at all and simply waited until the noodles were cool enough to eat. What I don't like is the manufacturer could have put in a couple of rings or markings at the 250ml and 500ml level. Most ramen calls for between 350ml and 500ml, so it woul have been nice to have a mark to judge how mach water to add. I'll solve that by using a file or my dremel tool to nick or notch the side at the 500ml mark, then eyeball it from there. The second pet peeve is that the diameter of the bowl is ever so slightly small, and I had to crush the corners of the package of noodles to get them to fit into the bowl. It's a minor annoyance, but there it is. (For the record they are not Mr. Noodles, but a popular Taiwanese brand). I want to take aawy a star because of the diameter, but it performs so well, I didn't have the heart to do it. I've used it twice to boil up some noodles, once at home and once at work. I like it enough to consider buying one as a gift for a family member who eats more ramen then I do. :)
