Loaded straight into the Leapfrog device via a USB cable from the laptop. Simple to do, the app even pops up when the cable is plugged in. Great for reading with the grandchildren; this will be a lot of fun. High quality books and printing is bright, clear and well written.

My daughter has the leapstart book and loves dinosaurs, she is only two but loved the pictures and the story too.

Great for building on skills
I follow Montessori largely - yet my little one is easily bored with the play learn Montessori principle - I thought about getting the Leapfrog - I'm so impressed - it's so good for building skills - from listening, independance, following instructions, learning alphabet, colours, shapes, drawing and writing and beyond. It's entirely customisable so that it can be how you feel works best for your child.

Great books, computer required
Love the books. However, we were not aware a computer would be required to download each subsequent book. The download instructions are a bit confusing the first times, but got the hang of it
