How do you open it if it comes locked from the factory?

Your safe should have included 2 keys and an instruction sheet on the outside of the safe, these are packed on top inside the safe carton. If you are missing the keys and the instruction sheet please contact Customer Service at cs@heritagesafe.com or 888-577-9823 (8-5:30 MST (Mountain Time) ) with the safe serial number and purchase details. They will assist you with missing keys and the instruction sheet.

i’m sure i putting in the right code but the safe doesn’t open. it works only with the key. how do i check if it’s something wrong with it?

I think you have to turn the handle as you put the code in. Are you doing that? If not, try it. I literally have only opened the safe ones and that was to put my stuff in. But I seem to remember it would only open if I turned the handle as I put the code in
