Installed on 2025 Ram 1500 4wd with dual exhaust
Was surprised at how well this fit considering it is not listed specifically for a 2025 Ram 1500. It mounts up fine. Quality seems fine. Operates as in intended. It cleared the exhaust system just fine. But the only negative is when it is in the up/stored position it is in fact touching the plastic bumper trim piece. Thats not a big deal to me but others may not like that. Not much in the way of adjustments as to gain the clearance. Older trucks may not have that bumper trim and fit fine. Overall I'm pleased with it and seems solid and makes access in to the bed with the tailgate down much easier. However with the factory bumper being so narrow I do recommend this step. As said above it does touch the plastic trim on the bumper and im not concerned with it. Added a picture of how close it is to the exhaust. Its got contact marks because of when stowing it, it makes contact. But when the truck is running its not vibrating or anything. Also I have had the exhaust all the way off the truck and is not 100% sitting as it was from factory.

So far, so good
The problem with most reviews is that they are written before the product is really used. This one is no different. It well t in easy. I watched a video and the guy had all sorts of trouble getting it into position. Remove the plug clips from the holes and push them up out of the way. Take out 2 bolts and put in 3. I recommend replacing the top 2 first, but leave them really loose. Install the bottom tight and then tighten the top 2. It's really nice on my 2021 Ram Limited.

I use this thing everyday It is awesome !
I didn't really want to put anything on my truck. I am 5'4 and my truck is raised let me tell you this is a lifesaver I am constantly climbing in and out of my bed for various ties and things that I put in there without this step I think I would have sold the truck !!!! it's a little stiff at first and a little awkward to figure out how to put it back in but once you figure it out and after a few uses it loosens up just a little I'm a woman and I don't have good strength in my knees but it's very operable and a blessing very easy to install !!!

Pretty decent for the price.
fairly straight forward install, I had no issues getting the bolts out and moving the wiring harness out of the way.. I did not need or want to unplug the harness, sometimes that will throw a code. At first I thought it was not going to fit as it was sitting against the tailpipe. I discovered if I held up on the step and tightened the top bolt, it held it away from the tailpipe. It does hit the tailpipe slightly when it comes down into position but not a big deal. Seems sturdy for stepping on BUT it is kind of loose and wobbly in its joints not the mount. . If it makes a noise driving over bumps it will be sent back.

Fits on 2025 Ram 1500
I put this onto a 2025 Ram 1500. It is the Inline 6 turbo with a dual exhaust. I watched a YouTube video for a 2021 Ram and it seemed straight forward. The electrical connector was different from the video, but it disconnected without much issue. I struggled a bit getting the mounting bracket between the body and muffler, but I extended the step to the open position and maneuvered it into place. It fits and works nicely without any issues. However, in the closed position a small part of the arm is resting on the exhaust pipe. I will figure out a way to keep this from closing completely and hitting the exhaust.

Pins Fallen Off Twice
I purchased the Rear Bed Step for my Dodge Ram 1500 in May 2024, and it’s been nothing but trouble. The pins have fallen out twice, and now they’ve completely come off, leaving the bed step dangling dangerously. This is a serious safety hazard that could cause an accident on the road. I tried securing the pins myself, but they kept coming loose, proving that this product is poorly designed and not reliable. To make matters worse, the 30-day return window has passed, and now I’m stuck with a defective product that I can’t use safely. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this item, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and avoid this product—it’s not worth the risk.

Great step - easy install
Great product - very well made. Installation was easy, but I recommend watching the YouTube videos to help you out. About a half hour job. My only trouble was getting the electrical connection apart - due mainly to a 4 year old truck and the road grim gumming up the cam/release feature. Instructions are poorly printed and difficult to read - but the diagram makes sense once you look at the under carriage. Love the ease of swinging the step down and back up.

Perfect Fit!
Vehicle: 2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn Pros: Perfect fit. Solid construction. Worth the purchase. Con: Instructions were printed very light and hard to read the details. I found a video from the manufacture to help with the install. Pausing and playing took me 20 minutes. Additional Comment: Tools I suggest for an easy install: 3/4" Rachet and/or Breaker Bar; 21mm socket (3/4"), Pick or small thin flat screw drive to separate the electrical connector; 13/16" or 21mm ratcheting box wrench. It will make sense during the install. Save your knuckles with a long handle rachet or breaker bar to clear the exhaust. When you are tightening all the bolts, install the new bottom one first to hold the step-in place while you install the top two. Tighten from bottom to top in order to make space for the tools as you go up.

be careful when installing the step might close on you while installing it and the torque spec is not correct but other than that I love it its really good and can handle heavy weight and rugged it doesn't deploy on its on if you hit a pothole or on highway speed so far all is good we will see after some time and wear and tear
