According to my husband - This unit was easy to install and has worked great for 6 months since being installed. Cools / heats my small shop perfectly. Wonderful value for the money especially compared to ones from big box stores. Also the customer service from the these guys was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I had one issue and it was taken care of promptly and professionally, I wish every company was this customer oriented.

I've had my unit since 2023. Purchased it for mainly the ac, since working in a 20'x20' shop in the summer can get pretty warm. When winter came around and it started getting really cold. I didn't have a whole lot of hope in the unit being able to keep the shop even somewhat warm. But no it does a fantastic job keeping things from getting too cold when you dont want them too. Then crank up the heat and turn on turbo mode, its shorts and t-shirt weather in that little shop. There's only been a couple times (when it well below freezing with crazy windchill) that it gave out on me. But I also understand how these funtion and some of the requirements needed for these units to function. But let it sit a little bit and it works again fine.

These AC machines are absolutely amazing, easy to install, easy to work and super quiet and just beautiful on the walls! I did have a problem with one of the 4 units I bought the main inside wouldn’t turn on? So then sent me labels and now I will be getting my replacement soon, over all a great Experience.

Bought five of these for our new home. The work very well and are quiet on the low to medium settings. A little bit noisy on Hi settings but totally normal. Like most mini splits they are kind of ugly. I wish this brand would make recessed units that don't hang on the wall. The only issue I have had is that one of our five outdoor fan units and makes a lot of noise. I need to take it apart and tighten all of the screws and hardware to keep it from vibrating. Note. You we likely need a licensed HVAC sub to charge the line sets. Especially if you have to customize and braze any of the connections.

I bought two of these units at different times, about 4 months apart from each other for two different parts of our house and they both don’t work now and customer service has not been good. After having the units work a little while, they both started to have the internal parts freeze over. Then it was thaw and leak all over. Then it progressed to the units not cooling at all and the air conditioning not working so these units don't work at all now. I tried to get help from customer service about it and they gave me no solutions and offered a measly $20 off a new unit. $20 off when shipping alone is $100 is so low, why even bother offering it? And why would we want to buy new units for only a measly $20 off when both units we bought don't work and don't cool anymore? Don't bother with these cheap units and save your money on the better quality ones.

I did a ton of research on minisplits, what I found is they are mostly all about the same. I went with a model that had some helpful videos on YouTube for installation instructions. I’ve now been using this Rovsun in the summer and winter months, it’s perfect. I even start it up on cold days from my phone so when I get out into my office it’s nice and toasty.

Works good so far accept for the possibility of not enough freon included. I had an issue with the drip tray filling up and not draining and leaking inside a day after installing. I checked the drain tube to make sure it was in good form and no problem there. So I have a question. Why isn't a pump installed similar to a washing machine to pump the water out of the drip tray when it gets to a certain level? It would be a good selling point. Also there isn't enough room in the back of the unit for all the lines plus insulation. So there are two issues that need correction.
