Works with Enough Capacity to Charge My Acer Aspire 5 Slim
Unit appears to work with enough capacity to charge my Acer Aspire 5 Slim model (I had previously purchased a charger from another vendor with a deficiency in this regard so I was more cautious with this purchase). This good unit is physically larger and sturdier that the actual Acer supplied unit - bigger body and heavier duty AC and DC cords. I also see that it rated for 3.42 DC output amps vs 2.37 amps with the Acer original. New unit clearly runs with less internal heating putting my hand to the power supply case. The DC connector into the body my laptop looks to be an exact fit. I run a workstation in my home office with a duplicate larger (Acer brand) monitor. I think that I will use this new power unit for this stationary application and re-purpose the original Acer power supply and cords into my laptop carry backpack because it is lighter and smaller. Good purchase thus far. I am satisfied.

Exactly right cord
Speed was essential as I needed a new cord for my computer to work so I can do my jobI really like the green light on the power box. It lets me know it is connected and functioning properly.

Saved my laptop!
I was terrified that my laptop’s battery had died for good because the cord it came with (that I’d been using for about 2 years) was working just fine hours before. So I bought this one praying I would be able to have my laptop for work again and it worked like a charm! It’s super long and completely worth the buy. I was a bit nervous at first but it fit my Acer 5 perfectly.

Decent at a good price
I have a 7 yo Acer Windows 10 laptop I've upgraded and use daily. The power cord has become frayed and damaged. The computer still works well enough so I ordered this product to replace the power source. I didn't go with the cheapest option but this one was reasonably priced and looked good enough. My only complaint is the connector with the yellow band has just enough slack in it when connected to the computer that while it works now, I'm not confident it will continue to connect and charge in the future-time will tell. The connection isn't tight and firm like the OEM part but it does click in hard enough to work--it just seems loose enough to become problematic with time and daily wear/use. By the time it does wear out, however, the laptop will be due for replacement, I hope.

Product was not represented properly.
I needed a 65W Power Adapter for my Acer. When the product arrived it does not have any of the standard information on the back of the Power Adapter like you would see on all other Power Adapters. On the website the pic posted does not show the entire specification on the backside; I assumed it would have the basic information on the back side on the cut off portion of the pic. It did have a small sticker on the mailing box that said 45W-65W, however, does not show watts on the Power Adapter. I tried to go to UL.com and enter the numbers provided on the companies Amazon posting, said "no product found". I sent a message to the company through Amazon and while I did get a nice timely response, the response was standard blah, blah, blah that did not address my specific questions. They claim the Power Adaptor is 45W/65W and will work with all 45W/65W computers listed on their website. While this may be true based on the computer you own, some computers want/need 65W only. Lastly the yellow tip was a little shorter than the tip that came on the original Power Adaptor from Acer and it was not the best fit. I went to the company's website and filled out their form (they do not have phone number for support) and requested someone call me. No call back, no email response. Even though they claim they have done rigorous testing on their Power Adaptors on their Amazon page, their smaller tip, no specs on the actual Power Adaptor, no confirmation on UL.com and not the best customer service made me feel their Power Adaptor may have been some left over products from China make for another country that could damage my computer. Thank God for Amazon's easy to return Warranty. I am going to spend more money and buy a Power Adaptor from Acer that is made for my computer to give me peace of mind.

The product info helped me decide...
I was overwhelmed at first by all the different types of chargers that LOOKED like the charger that came with my device, but unfortunately, none an exact match; different ends, different voltage, about a hundred different kinds, etc.) Jeez... they were all very similar. I just new that I'd end up with something that wouldn't work. I have an Acer Aspire 5S Slim Laptop. After an hour of a tedious, and confusing search trying to match all the different specs, plug sizes, voltage levels, etc. to match my LT, I discovered this charger. The seller had the great idea of posting a blown up screenshot of the side of the laptop that clearly displayed the size of the port for the power input. Smart! I could see from the photo that the size of the port shown was identical to mine. The only thing that was not exact was my stock cable was a 45 volt charger, whereas this charger was 45-65 volt. But I crossed my fingers and ordered this one. It fit! This charger is a tiny bit hotter than I needed, but fortunately, it seems to be doing great. I just watch and make sure that the charger (or my LT) doesn't start running hot. I'm very pleased with how it's performing. This is a solid charger. Thanks to the detailed product information, its all good. Oh, and the cord is longer than the original. No worries.
