Rear projection works great!
This is the first screen I have owned so I don't have anything to compare it to. I have only used it as a rear projection for outdoor movies in the yard. It works great. I would highly recommend rear projection if you have 8 to 10 feet behind the screen to set your projector up. I use a CAIWEI Home Projector LCD LED Video Projector 4200 Lumens that you can buy on Amazon. I have not used the front projection but I assume it would be as good or better then the rear. The picture is great in my opinion and the 120" screen is perfect for us. Easy to setup takes one person (me) about 5 minutes to put it together. Very easy. I leave the screen frame loose on the ground when I snap the screen into place. Once all the snaps are connected then I stand it up and lock the corners into place and the screen is stretched tight. Any fold lines disappear or are not noticeable. The aluminum frame is very well designed and seems sturdy and well built. It is not indestructible because it is aluminum. My only concern is the life span of the snaps. The snaps appear to be good quality and I have not noticed any issues snapping and unsnapping them. One or two failures probably wouldn't make a difference. With the rear projection you have everything behind the screen and it is more like a large TV screen. The only cord going through the viewing area is an extension cord to the power strips behind the screen. With children or inebriated adults there is nothing to trip on or knock over. I have an above ground pool so I didn't want any electrical devices anywhere near contact with water. It can be a real clutter behind the screen with power cords and speaker connections so it is nice to keep this all away from everybody. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again if something happened to this one.

Great quality, easy setup and teardown. Will give years of great service!
8/11 - Upgrading my homemade setup to something a little more portable. My initial thoughts are that this thing is very well built. It took about 5 minutes to set up on my own. Right out the the box the carrying case that holds everything was in a box and that box was in the exterior box so everything came very well protected. It includes a nice case for the screen so it doesn't get damaged during storage. The setup was intuitive and done without directions. The screen has some creases in it so I expected to need to leave it out in the sun, but after the first setup it was stretched tight enough to not even notice them. I wasn't planning on using it that night so I quickly took it apart and folded it back up. Everything fits comfortably back in its case. It took about 5 minutes to get it down by my self. I'm really looking forward to using this for backyard movie nights, tailgates, etc. I'll update the review later if anything changes, but I'm expecting years of service out of this screen. Only downside is that it is a little shorter than expected. Probably not a big deal, but if you want it higher, order the expansion kit right away.

Yardmaster 2 Dual 135 + LG PF1000UW Projector
Yardmaster 2 Dual 135. My review. I really want to give this 4.5 stars but I felt a .5 star concern about the design of the "T-Legs" supporting such a large screen 135 inch. I would have felt more comfort in having additional bracers or more of an "A-Leg" design or some other support from the bottom of the screen to the end of the rear leg at least. Part of it is that I have a concrete patio so I cannot string this down with the stakes and rely on sandbag to keep it down. it;s not keeping the base down that concerns me but rather finding a way to support the top of the screen so that it doesnt tip over or worse even bending the legs. Still I would have preferred a bracing leg over string to support a hefty investment like this($500). Now onto the Glory: This thing is Huge! And the quality of the materials is outstanding! This literally went up in minutes! Putting the Wraithveil Dual(designed for ultra short throw) screen on required very little effort pulling it taut just follow the proper order. Very minor creases hardly noticed and totally invisible come movie time. Not sure what screen type the others were complaining about but this was nice and tight like a trampoline. OMG! Just a beautiful screen. But how does it perform? I have an LG PF1000UW Ultra short throw projector rated at 1000 lumens so I was concerned I just didn't have enough juice as LG recommends max 100 inch. Indeed calculators put this in the "red" zone so I was nervous the .08 gain on the screen would hurt. Once the sun set we put on a movie "Capt. America Civil War" and all concerns vanished. The picture quality was outstanding! Blacks, colors all very vibrant! Right away I thought maybe I could have gotten the 150 or 180! That Wraithveil Dual screen really made movies pop and everyone was amazed. Finally a movie theater in the backyard! Being the LG is an Ultra Short Throw I was able to front project onto the screen from 2 feet away from the screen. As the night played on my brother wanted to see how the projector would handle Rear Projection onto the screen. Again, I was nervous not enough power on the projector and that the image wouldn't be as vibrant. So we move the projector to the back. I couldn't believe mine eyes but the picture looked even better! I'm not kidding! It looked just as bright and vibrant but I think it had a greater effect on producing deeper blacks or something. Everyone said the image looked great front or rear but all preferred the rear projection! Excellent because now I can clip n the black skirt and take this to another level! I cant say enough about the quality of the screen. I can't speak for any other screen material but the Wraithveil Dual was simply amazing. Again no issues with any minor wrinkles that in my opinion would stretch themselves out in a bit of sunlight. There was no bunching of the screen or anything. This was looked trampoline tight. But like I said even the minor creases from folding the screen were completely undetectable come movie time. Outstanding just outstanding.

Screen defective on original and replacement
The screen frame is of good quality and easy to set up and take down. My issues with this screen was a defect in the screen itself which had a red blob embedded in one of the creases of the screen. The defect was approximately 1" x 12". I exchanged the screen through Amazon; however, the replacement had the same defect in the exact same location. It will go back as well. This appears to be batch related problem.

Repeat customer. Lower quality control/ customer service . Misleading advertisement
Second time buying an ES. First one no issues (135 model). Bought a new projector that fits up to 200 inches so wanted same exact model but bigger. Like it but has a bad eyelet bolt out of the two that screws into the top to hold frame in place. And didn’t come with middle support leg as advertised. I’ve been emailing back and forth almost a week and answering repeated questions with pics. Now they finally said that the middle support leg is on the older version of this. Not sure how it makes since to update a newer version without support in the middle. As in the pic, the middle sags slightly from the horizontal length. I spent almost $300 building this base so it would be even for all three legs. Almost feels like service is trying to just get rid of fixing the issue but who know. I will have to build something for better support in the middle like a 2x4 sitting underneath it instead of the support leg in their pic. Haven’t put up screen yet to check its quality. Hoping it’s the same as the 135 model tho. Rating 2/5 due to amount spent and labor of a day making the base

Incredible Quality
I was most amazed with how easy this screen was to set up and take down. The first time out of the box I had it up within about 10 minutes with my wife only needing to assist for a minute or two when we stood it up and staked it in. The frame is lightweight, yet quite sturdy, and all it took was unfolding the frame and the locking mechanisms engaged very easily. The screen fit perfectly, leaving a taut, smooth surface to project on. I'd originally planned to get a front projection screen, but am glad I bought the Dual, as rear projection works well in our back yard. While the 0.8 gain (matched with my 3500 lumens projector) requires us to hold off until sunset to get things started, the picture was bright and clear, and I like the versatility provided by the option of projecting from the front or rear. Breakdown (the next morning, since our movie ran until 10:30pm) was just as easy as setup. And everything packed away nicely in the included bag. Everything was so easy and such high quality that we are hosting neighborhood movie nights throughout the summer to take advantage of this great product.

Refreshed/refurbished screen arrived with many discolorations and damage
Purchased from this company after seeing a review of another of their screens in Wirecutter. Very disappointed to receive a screen with many markings and discoloration. One of the snaps to attach to frame is broken. Instruction papers are not fresh/new. It is hard for me to believe this item hasn’t been previously owned. Kind of a pain to return so will probably not chance it again with this company. Screen seemed not quite big enough to snap onto frame- which might be why mine arrived with a broken snap. Picture looked nice on screen- from front and rear.

Customer Service
I purchased this screen (front and rear projection wraith veil) and used it once, and it was great. I put it back into the sleeve/case it came with. Then a few weeks later I pulled it out to use it again. The sleeve/case is black on the inside and it had stained/rubbed off on the screen (side note, the set-up and storage instructions for this product are not very clear. I highly recommend you keep some of the foam packaging and wrap the screen in it when putting it in the sleeve to prevent this from happening to your screen). We tried several items to clean it and scrub it off, and it would not come off. So we reached out to Elite Screens, and I have to say I was not expecting much based on the reviews of their customer service that I had read online. However, they surprised me came through! I provided them with a picture of the damaged screen, and my order information, and later that week I had a replacement screen. Very quick and easy, no hassle! We used it the same night we received it and it was great! I'm very pleased with how they handled my particular situation. As for the screen, I much prefer the rear projection (keeps the projector, cords, etc out of the way of my small children and others) and this one (wraith veil) works fantastic for that! Great quality and a lot of fun for outdoor movies.

Better Than Expected
We run a Professional ELVIS TRIBUTE SHOW and was looking for two cinema screens for either side of our stage show to run screens for backdrops and a few synchronised Elvis songs. We have two Ultra Short Throw projectors and was a little dubious about these rear projection setup and if it would be bright enough. We we were simply blown away by the actual Wraith Veil Dual Screen technology. This was better than we could have hoped for. We can place the erected 3m x 2.4 m (120") screen and frame against the wall and still have enough room for the rear projector to sit in tight and punch up a 120" image celery and with clarity. The screens take 15mins each to erect and 7 minutes to Pull Down. The quality is exceptional The screen was a little hard to put on and stretch initially but will be easier as time goes by and it naturally stretches out. This is a precision screen If you are thinking of buying a budget screen maybe think again. This is a dependable professional screen NOT a hobby back yard screen. The actual screen is like a translucent membrane not a polyester screen. I cannot tell you how happy I am. If you want a professional portable screen that will last years and is stable and offers exceptional screen technology then get the Elite Screen Yard Master 2 with Wraith Veil technology and you WILL BE HAPPY .

Great Screen - Front or Rear projection
Reason for Buy: Backyard movies for family/friends Positives: 1) arrived in well packaged box, and had carry case for all pieces 2) screen protected by another case inside main carry case 3). They provide a ground sheet realizing you’ll have to lay this on ground to set up. Helps keep your screen clean. 4). Minimal parts. Everything you need - but just what you need too. Basically 4 main parts (frame, 2 legs, screen and four easy tune screw handles (plus tie down rope and stakes) 5) Reasonable set up - took about 30 minutes out of box, and like other reviews - gets quicker more you set up. (Did solo - no assistance) 6) picture is beautiful (see photo). Great colour, great clarity. Height of frame is just perfect for sitting in standard backyard furniture. Negatives: 1) Snaps are hard to press the further you advance in securing screen to frame. Bring patience, pull strength (or a friend). 2) Comes with tie downs and rope which is great - but wind blew over as stake was in flowerbed earth. As set up on concrete deck - I just put two heavy decorative bricks on legs and no issues. This isn’t a fault of company - they provided ties and rope (good quality). I just didn’t have the right environment for stakes. So bring sandbags or heavy weight of some sort on slightly windy days. 3) Price with frame was higher than others - and though I haven’t compared - I think the quality dictated their price point. No regrets. I would recommend this screen and frame set up.

dont buy!
The permanent creases on the fabric are actually tolerable. However, please note that due to the fabric's translucency, the imaging effect is very poor! The color accuracy and brightness are both very bad, eben worse than a white wall.
