Universal fit
I have multiple Xbox controllers and Xbox Kontrolfreeks do not fit on all of them however the Setex Gecko Grips fit nicely on my entire line up from Gamesir G7 Pro, Razer Wolverine TE, Scuf Valor Pro and my personal favorite the Flydigi Vader 5S. Great feel and definitely recommend for anyone looking for the best grips on the market

Best thumb grips I've tried.
Love these. I got them for my Astro Bot controller since they have white thumbsticks I didn't want them getting discolored. The color matches well and they feel very comfortable. I've had no problems with slipping and they fit nicely on the joysticks. The only minor issue is that because they're very grippy, they also get dead skin caught in them very quickly and easily. I can't stand grimy controllers so I always wash my hands before using them and even so, the thumb grips got an ashy white color from skin contact over time. However, they're fairly simple to remove and put on so you can give them a rinse now and then. Overall, they're the best thumb grips I've tried yet and have no regrets about them. Wish I'd gotten them for my Steam Deck too.

Thumbstick Covers: Full Review
⏳PRODUCT UPDATE⌛ I've now been using these for a full year+ with heavy use weekly. I expected breakdown or slippage to occur at some point but have experienced none whatsoever, in fact they still feel the same as if I just opened the pack. I will add they do require cleaning every 2-3 weeks to remove natural hand oils and skin debris (we're human and alive so no avoiding that unless you wear gloves, the last picture is taken the same day as this update) other than that I have zero issues and recommend them highly. This may be a bit of a long one but I like for anything I review be genuine and fair so here we go. 1st picture: obviously said product which are the covers out the package. 2nd picture: Setex covers (red) compared to a set of Kontrol Freek covers. Please note the gecko grips are a tad thicker. 3rd picture: Setex covers next to a Kontrol Freek Omni thumbstick grip, they look similar to the grip but they have a very distinct feel to them vs other covers and grips I've used over the years. I've had the Omnis for about 2 years now and as it can be seen, I put a bit of hand chalk into the grooves because they're very grippy for the first year or so but can become slick with heavy use which is normal for everything. 4th picture: for easy application just turn them inside-out, line it up with the center of your stick around unfold it downwards, it should pop right on without any trouble. 5th picture is both covers on the sticks. Just a few pros and cons before you make your purchase: Pros: -they feel fantastic once you get them on -unique feel -very solid build quality Cons: -the price for a pair may put some off $12 but still cheaper than kontrol freek. -they're supposed to be universal, however I can tell that after a few months they may have slippage. -being universal they don't have any particular platform in mind (they should reconsider that making them platform specific as KF tailors their products that way) Closing: would I recommend these? Absolutely, just be sure to care for them properly and there shouldn't be any issues. - Sid note, never use chemicals of any kind to clean your covers or sticks. I learned the hard way, don't learn the hard way. Hopefully this helps anyone looking to pick these up.

Shockingly effective
I took a chance, and was not disappointed with these caps. I was looking for something to make my Steam Deck nicer to use portably, and I figured that some high-end thumb-stick caps would help. Believe me when I say that I got more than I bargained for. These are definitely not ordinary nice-feeling rubber caps. The construction is very solid, they will last me years. But I bought these without realizing, that Setex's speciality, is this very different and interesting method of providing grip for your fingers, than simple rubber friction. These pads have like, thousands of tiny little grippers, in the pad itself (they don't hurt your skin or anything), and they provide insane grip, even at very tilted angles. It's crazy how strong the grip is, you can feel the pull on the tips of your fingers, even when you're not moving them actively. You kind of have to feel it to believe it. I will be buying more, and freaking my friends out with how strong it is, haha.

Amazing
These are the absolute best of the best. They don't peel or cause plastic to shred unlike my kontrolfreek ones did. I wrote them a complaint because it caused a controller stick drift and I had to warranty claim which was a pain. These fit perfectly and grip is amazing.

Versatile Joystick Covers with a Few Downsides (PS5, Switch, Steam Deck)
These grips caught my attention due to their neutral look and feel. I used them on PS5 controllers, Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, and the Steam Deck (more on that below). After using six pairs for over six months on various controllers, they've mostly maintained their overall feel. They're comfortable and provide a good grip, but they're not entirely perfect. The "gecko-inspired gripping technology," which serves as the base of the cover, has worn down on some of them. It's not a significant difference, but it does raise questions about their long-term durability. I'll update my review if the issue worsens. Additionally, these grips tend to collect a lot of dust, so you'll need to wipe them down regularly. I'd also like to mention that at $10-12 per pair, they might be a bit overpriced, especially considering their simple design and structure compared to other brands. In terms of how well they fit on each controller, they're a perfect fit for PS5 and Pro Controllers, no doubts there. However, when it comes to the Steam Deck, the joysticks are slightly smaller, so you won't get that snug fit you experience with the other controllers. They don't slide around during joystick use, but they are loose enough to allow for some rotation. I still use them on my Steam Deck because it doesn't bother me, but it might be a deal-breaker for others.

Must Have for Steam Deck!
These are very grippy! I got these for my steam deck and I'm never going back. They twist on pretty easily and don't rub on the edges when the joystick is fully pressed to a side. I've had one of them pop off before when I was grabbing my steam deck and it seems to twist around a little easier than the one on the other stick, but I don't notice any slipping while playing. The steam deck joysticks are pretty slim and they could be a little tighter IMO, but I don't notice any issues with them while I'm playing. Speaking of, gaming with these has been a huge improvement, they add a little height to the sticks so I feel like I'm more accurate, and my deck feels a little more ergonomic now too. The deck also still easily fits in the original case it came with so I keep them on all the time. They're a little pricey, but I think I will pick some more up for my playstation and switch pro controllers as well because I really love how they feel!

The Ones to Get
These grips are unlike other grips out there. They are very grippy without feeling like sandpaper and give a level of control that is needed. They do not rely on clips that can dig into and possibly damage a controller’s thumbstick. I have them on Steam Deck, Razer V3, PS5 controller, and PS Portal. We will see about longevity as mentioned in other reviews. For now, they are awesome and worth my money.

Great comfort for the price!
I recently got the Setex Gecko Grip Thumbstick Covers for my Switch, and they’ve been a total game-changer! The level of grip these covers provide is outstanding—it’s like having super glue for your thumbs, but without any stickiness. Whether I’m playing fast-paced shooters or long RPG sessions, my thumbs never slip, even during intense gameplay. The material feels premium and durable, and installation was a breeze. I also love how they enhance the precision of my movements, giving me that extra edge in competitive games. It’s such a small, affordable upgrade, but it makes a huge difference in comfort and control. Highly recommend these for anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience on Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox.
