Cables Unlimited PWR-1080-06 Mickey Mouse Power Cord

I forgot to pack my charger cable on going on vacation to USA. I ordered this before I left the UK (Friday) and it arrived on the Monday for me to collect in the US. The picture does not show the mickey mouse cable and it said people were purchasing these at the same time so I did this only to find one was included. Not sure of the length of the cable included, as using the separate 6ft one and left the other one in the US. I am now using this as my main charger every day, as it also has a USB port allowing me to charge my phone at the same time without having a separate charger and had had no problems over the 6 weeks I have been using it. The charger is a little larger than Dell original but the convenience of not having to use a separate phone charger outweighs this. I have had no messages on my Dell XPS13 that this is not the original charger, nor on my phone to say that the phone is charging slowly, which I have had using some chargers.

These are good quality power cords for connecting a laptop charger transformer to the wall. My original HP cable was flat and more subject to damage from flexure in its weak direction. After looking at the break area, I'd say the insulating covering on the original cable was inferior also - the new cable is much tougher. (I believe HP issued a recall on them - in any case, mine actually ultimately cracked and the copper wire broke, creating an arcing and sparking situation that I only became aware of via a random brush against the cable at just the right spot at the right time and getting "stung" by 120 volts. If you have one of those HP flat 3-wire cables, get this upgrade and save yourself a shock or possibly a fire.

Having contacting Dell to replace the original (and impractical) 3 foot Mickey Mouse power cord for my new Dell Laptop, and Dell unable to make any suggestions, I searched the internet for a 125W FLAT power cord. I wanted a flat as it is more flexible to bundle when traveling (and at least 6 feet which is more practical to use in public areas if necessary). I was very apprehensive to order after reading many of the reviews from people saying “not as pictured, this is a ROUND cord,” “did not work,” and others. I took a chance to order it and was pleasantly surprised that it IS “as pictured” (flat) and looks NEARLY IDENTICAL to the original 3 foot power cord. It fits the adapter perfectly. Although I have only had it 3 days (and 3 charges), it appears to work just as well as the original. I will highly recommend anyone looking for a 6 foot power cord. My only complaint, which was a disappointment since Amazon has always been very prompt in shipping out items, is that I ordered this on the 10th and I had to contact Amazon for a tracking number. It wasn’t until the 16th that they finally got around to supply a Tracking Number which showed delivery for the 18th, which did arrive on the 18th. However, their “Fulfillment Center” for this item was in Phoenix which is just hours away and Amazon was unable to explain why it was taking several days to prepare for shipment. Since I have only had this for 3 days and is working fine, if there are problems with its functionality down the road, I will definitely add a revision to this review. In the meantime, if anyone is looking to replace the power cord and needs a Mickey Mouse end and flat, this 125w is for you.

In this day of digital mobility, the need to carry around an AC adapter is necessary for long trips. Compared with other means of receiving any sort of power, this cable in particular is a much, much cheaper way to have a spare "Adapter". especially for a neat freak like myself who doesn't want to fuss with working the cable in and out of my cramped and tight setup any time I need to; This is also a great way to keep multiple cords plugged in and easily accessible so you don't have to do so much bending over to constantly unplug and move around the only mickey mouse cable in your possession. The first one I bought wore out on me prematurely, but the second one was very well built and does the job well. It should last me until I don't need it anymore -- when I am dead.

I have an older Panasonic Projector that I've used in the deserts of Iraq to the wall in my home. But the number one item I always misplace is the power cord. The first time I lost the cord, I went to Frys and even they couldn't find a similar one. The second time I just looked on amazon and found exactly what I needed. The cord is exactly as advertised and fits the "Mickey Mouse" power slot for such products. I've run my projector 3-4 hours out of each day and have no issues.

It works! It came with a set of nice end protectors for the prongs and plug. I've seen heavier duty cables, but it fits the bill, is decently insulated and looks good quality. Bought to replace the cabling that came with my Asus laptop, the AC adapter came with a 4 foot cable... Buy this cable, it will serve you well and is not cheap like the ones on ebay

My ASUS laptop came with a comically short brick to wall cord. Most places I would have to put the brick on my chair get get enough slack because the stock cord was too short. This replacement gave me all the length I needed at a great price! It is a nicely molded cable and it holding up well.

This item does work as a power cord, however, it is not 6-feet in length. The cord I received was in a package labeled 6-feet Mickey Mouse Power Cord. When I removed it from the package, it looked very short. I measured it, and including both ends, it measured under 4 feet long. I am using this Mickey Mouse power cord with an extension cord because I needed a power cord and didn't want to have to re-order one, but I am definitely disappointed that the cord was not the length advertised.

This cable is tough and of good quality. Very happy with it.
