Practicing grammar skills has never been so easy! Perfect for classroom or at-home use, this exciting ready-to-use resource provides invaluable reinforcement and practice with key grammar topics such as: sentence types parts of speech common and proper nouns sentence structure verb tenses subject-verb agreement punctuation and more! Review: I would buy again - Super great resource! Review: Best Easiest Book For Learning!! - So far we have absolutely loved this book! For every topic there is a simple definition (shown in the green box at the top of the page) and at least three pages of work for each topic. Simple enough and colorful enough for child to learn and stay engaged. We used this book to learn for the very first time and it was very effective. I can definitely see second graders and third graders using this book to learn for the first time or even just as a refresher on grammar. We bought this one and just bought the next one!

Great grammer book to aid 2nd grade children
Great learning tool for 2nd graders. Each pages had colorful illustrations. The instructions are simple to understand. Most pages have a small learning box in the upper corner to explain the grammar skills that you are learning. Affordable with easy to tear out perforated pages.

Nice addition, needs more pages!
I like the scholastic books. I have all the subjects for 2nd grade. My only complaint is I wish I could use it all year as an addition to my homeschooling, but it's only 48 pages so about a month and half and we are finished.

great tool to teaching.
The book covers several areas that are needed to learn for 2nd grade. Very fun for the student and teaches so much. It is a great learning tool for 2nd graders. My daughter loves it, she is delayed in academics so this book is more for 7 year olds than a 15 year old.

Buy
Bought this for my son to use over the summer break. Great for parents who don't have the time to create work sheets but still want to ensure their child have additional materials to practice with.

Good for kid in English immersion
My daughter is going to an immersion English school (we speak French where we live), she is in grade 2 and this is the perfect level for her to review during summer what she has been learning at school. The book is not to thick so the kid is not discouraged. Perfect book !
