has anyone used this on metal frame pools to stop rust? trying to stop the rust on our new intex metal frame pool! 1 yr old pool is already rusted!

I know it works on aluminum. Many in the aircraft industry use it to arrest rust ( corrosion) and its well proven for that. I would try it and I believe it would work on steel as well. I think it’s worth a try.

After applied, does it stay exactly wear you put it like a thin grease, or does it flow and level out over time into an even coat like Fluid Film?

It is thinner than lithium grease, but thicker than WD40. It does flow more into an even coat is it sits. I use it primary as a chain lubricant for motorcycles.

It appeared to dry clear shortly after I applied it. Several months later I glanced in the area where I applied it and I didn't notice anything unusual but I wasn't looking for that specifically.

If I use this on my deep cycle battery bank, would it hinder the current flow of the battery bank. Thanks

Acf-50 is supposedly non-conductive. It is advertised to be used (amongst other things) to spray the circuit boards of the avionics on airplanes. I've only used it to spray the engine block and airframe, but you should be ok with what you want to do.
