From 1973 comes one of the masterpieces of 70's Italian progressive rock. An album of sheer beauty that should be in every prog head's collection.

Many influences, but a sound of their own
I've been collecting prog since it was new and I was a teenager. I don't know why I waited so long to get this recording, but it is very good. I hear moments of ELP, Gentle Giant, Le Orme, early King Crimson, Area, and PFM, to name just a few. But it never sounds like imitation. They have a sound of their own, maybe not as distinctive as any of the groups mentioned, but excellent. The booklet is in Italian and English and there is a nice history of the group included. The Italian lyrics are printed on the inside of the mini-LP gatefold cover. The instrumentation is typical of RPI (Rock Progessivo Italiano) of the time (1973): Gigi Bianchi-voice, el. and ac. guitars; Filippo Lazzari-voice, keys, harmonica; Michele Arena- voice, drums/percussion, Dino Finocchi- lead voice, sax, flute; Aldo Angeletti- lead voice, bass. This belongs in any serious progressive rock collection. It ranks with the best of RPI and progressive rock bands generally. One of the best Italian prog. one-shot recordings. [no bonus cuts, total time is approx. 39:22]
