Convenient tests
These tests are the easiest to use at home. I have always found the test sheets to provide evidence they are working properly. This is not as definitive as a colonoscopy, but as far as home tests, I trust them and find them to be the most convenient.

Too easy for words
As mentioned, it tests for blood. So if you have known blood in your stool or when you wipe don't bother. But if you don't have obvious evidence of blood it's too easy for words. Test toilet water by flushing and then drop a piece of paper in the water. No blue color then continue. Poop in the toilet. Resist the urge to pee because if you have blood in urine it will show! Drop another piece of paper. How easy? There is also a 5th paper and a packet that test the test stripes. I think it's more for you to get a visual of what a true positive would look like. It is pretty obvious if positive. I'm not sure why some say this is disgusting? It's not to me and dropping a piece of paper in water is a good place to start (as long as you don't already have known bloody discharge).

Quick and Easy
Very easy to use. Unknown is the accuracy but at least mine was negative. Had to use chopsticks to fish it out of the toilet as the test paper does not appear biodegradable and would potentially plug the plumbing.

False positive
Bought this test in May 2024 which has an expiration date of May 31, 2026. The final test using the Positive Control Package did not produce the blue cross on the Detect Pad meaning the Pads are NOT detecting fecal blood.

Accurate results
Easy to use, just dump the test paper into the toilet and observe if it will turn blue. No color change means negative. You can do several tests to be sure that results are consistent. I have used this before because I am not a fan of colonoscopy. But when my results turned positive, i had no choice but to undergo one. They saw 3 polyps and removed them. Very accurate results.
