Do the yellow blinkers work with just a switch....or do You still need a flasher relay like a normal blinker bulb?

Either/or. If you hav a constant power for turn indication, they will sequentially indicate, but if you have a regular intermittent power turn indicator, I discovered, it just enough time for them to sequentially light each time the power comes in. So they work both ways.

Can this be attached for a 4 pin connection on my trailer?

You could do this, but it would require a 2 wire to 3 wire adapters be added to the trailer. The adapter breaks out the turn signal from the brake lights. (Or changes the 4 inputs to a 6-pin output at the lights,) depending on where you mount the adapter on the trailer you will also need to add either one or two wires. between the adapter and the turn signal wire of the lights. (I usually add the adapter at one taillight, so it only requires one wire across to the other turn signal.) Once the adapter is on the trailer the lights will fully function on any vehicle with a standard 4 ping connection.

Can someone explain how to wire the lights to a 08 Chevy Silverado . I try it; but the turning lights turn in to a brake light.please help??

The brown wire is for your running lights. The green and yellow wires are the turn/brake lights (flashing or solid red lights). These lights have the option for a separate brake (solid red) and turn signal (flashing amber). You would have to run separate wires for that. It isn't normal wiring for a trailer.
