Cut my foot sprain healing time in half
This brace was indispensable in healing a Grade 2 foot sprain that I sustained recently. I inverted my foot with all my weight on it and overstretched my fibularis ligaments and probably my peroneus longus tendon, too. I don't think that I tore anything, but it certainly is possible because my fifth metatarsal area (outside of foot) immediately swelled up, became red, and felt quite painful. I couldn't put any weight on the foot, so I hobbled, hopped, and limped around for a few days. Icing throughout the day, elevating the foot, and rubbing arnica and Penetrex cream helped the pain and swelling a lot, but I still couldn't walk right after two weeks, and the sprain seemed to be getting worse. Then, I saw a podiatrist who took x-rays, determined it wasn't a fracture, and wrapped my foot in the same configuration as an ankle brace. I ordered this from Amazon because it was made out of waterproof Neoprene so I could wear it swimming, wore it for a few days, and felt a dramatic improvement in my sprain. Within days, I was able to walk without a brace normally again. My foot ligaments are still healing, so I have to hold off on hiking and running for a couple weeks longer to be safe, but I'm convinced that wearing this brace gave my ligaments and tendons the support and break they needed to heal faster. I later learned that braces such as this one are recommended in healing ankle and foot sprains. I wear a women's size 9 shoe, and this brace fit very well. Due to its long straps and strong construction, with a generous opening for the heel, I think it would serve all sizes for men and women, up to and including men's size 12/13. It can fit under a sock, but I think it would make slipping the foot into shoes uncomfortable and/or difficult. I wore relaxed-fit Crocs flips and clogs while using it. It did not make my foot sweaty, either. I recommend this ankle brace and really wish that I had begun wearing it right after my sprain. I would have healed so much faster.

Reduced pain significantly
I am a teacher, so I'm on my feet a lot, and the walk from the parking lot to my classroom building is long. I wore this brace for the first time today (summer school) and I have significantly less ankle and foot pain this evening because of this brace. Usually I want to cut my foot off at the end of the day, but I feel like I can keep my foot for now. I wear a woman's size 8.5 shoe. The brace fits my foot well, and I like how much I can adjust the brace for my foot. I doubt this brace would fit well for men with large feet. I doubt it is "one size fits all". While the neoprene is elastic, it is high quality, and it should retain its support well over titime. This is the best brace I have tried and I've needed one off and on for 2-3 years. My only frustration is that the brace doesn't fit well in sandles and some of my professional shoes, but many braces don't.

Very light support; not enough for a smaller ankle, BUT WORKS WELL FOR MEDIUM-SIZED ANKLES
I bought this brace because I was looking for something easy to put on to help support my sprained ankle. This is certainly easy to put on, but offers minimal support, so that I rarely wear it. However, for those looking for a thin, lightweight brace that offers just a little support, this may work. THIS DID NOT OFFER MUCH SUPPORT FOR A WOMAN WITH SMALLER ANKLES/FEET, BUT DID WORK WELL FOR A MAN WITH MODERATELY-SIZED ANKLES. Update: my husband had a moderate ankle sprain and purchased this, without any input from me. As it turns out, he really likes it, because it is lightweight, easy to put on, and offers enough support for him to get through a day at the office, or a round of golf with a cart (he is back to golfing after the swelling & bruising resolved, although it is still achy). It seems to work well for him because of his size; he is of moderate build and wears an 8 1/2 shoe. This probably did not work as well for me because I wear a size 6 1/2-7, and although I brought the opposing straps as close together as possible, it just did not seem tight enough. Over 7 months, I have tried 6 different ankle braces. For comparison, the Neo-G brace offers moderate support and is my go-to brace because of comfort, support and ease-of-use. I also like the McDavid 432 ankle brace with strap, which is just a bit more supportive than the Neo-G brace, but because of shoulder injuries, I have some difficulty putting the McDavid brace on. The ASO stabilizing orthosis and Swede-O easy lok adjustable ankle brace were also uncomfortable, rubbing in the wrong places, although the most supportive. The OTC ankle support brace with wraparound strap was a disappointment; it was too large to offer an support, although I ordered a small.

Great mobility, great support, GREAT DEAL!
Got this brace in two days after ordering on prime day. Didn't think I would get it so quickly considering the amount of items that were purchased that day, but Amazon came through as always. Brace was perfect for what I needed it for. I was born with a club foot and wore braces for a few years growing up and never had good stability in it. I always wore a lace up ankle brace through sports growing up. Need I say they aren't very comfortable and always seemed to wear blisters when worn for long periods of time. I've used many neoprene braces for running and they never gave the needed support I was looking for during long distance running. This brace was a good medium ground between the two. It gives me enough support to keep me from rolling an ankle but also gives me the freedom of movement so I don't affect my stride. The best thing about this support is you can easily adjust it with just a few readjustments of the sturdy velcro straps. During my first mile I noticed I had the strap too tight and it was causing my foot to tingle. I stopped pulled my shoe off and had it readjusted before my heart-rate even dropped. I continued on to another 4 miles and never had any more problems. The only complaint I had was that my foot got pretty hot during my run but that could be from the second layer and possibly the 97 degree Oklahoma weather. Despite this small problem I would definitely buy this product again, especially at $9. SUCH A DEAL!

Comfortable and light weight
This package contains one ankle supportmade entirely of neoprene fabric and Velcro. I wear a ladies size 10–11 and have an ankle circumference of 10 inches. It would most certainly fit a few sizes larger since the material is stretchy & adjustable. I was diagnosed with posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and have been wearing a cam boot for three months. The boot gets extremely hot and heavy now that it is summer and since I don't know how long I will have to wear this lovely fashion accessory I was looking for something to alternate with the boot that would still provide some support. I absolutely feel that it holds my ankle in place and provides additional support and since it is adjustable I can tighten or loosen to my comfort level. I think I could easily where this all day or all night with no problem. I've used it while riding my recumbent bike to keep my ankle stable and it allows for flexibility of movement while doing so. Its very easy to strap on your foot and fits under or over your sock comfortably, however when I put my sneaker on I had to totally readjust the laces to make it fit comfortably inside the shoe. I'm pleased with this purchase and I'm going to buy a second one. I was able to grab this for $9.99 on a lightning deal.

One Size Fits NONE
These ankle supports are NOT worth owning. 1. They do NOT fit properly, applied correctly, they slip around. 2. If applied tight enough not to slip about, they cut off blood circulation to the foot. 3. They truly do NOT offer "support' of the ankle. In order to offer true "SUPPORT", they would need to have some sort of support other than a piece of material, such as what the wrist braces have - hard plastic or metal, to support. There is No Way a 'one size fits all (or, most) Ankle Support system COULD, conceivably, have a proper SUPPORT system - if metal or hard plastic Were involved, it might hit the ankle bone on the side, or, across the top, etc. I purchased TWO, one for each foot. When I FIRST put them on, my reaction was one of being pleased. After having worn it less than two hours, sitting down most all of that time, they began to slip. I read the instructions, again, and tried tightening them, even though I had them on properly to begin with. They then cut off circulation. The two good things I felt while wearing them was WARMTH where the material was at, but if it were summer, and HOT outside, that wouldn't have been such a great thing, anyway. Secondly, they gave a pressure to the area where they were at, after tightening to the extreme, to keep them on/up. That felt good, up until I realized it had made my feet go numb. I have an average to slim sized foot, can wear between a size 7 women's to an 8 in women's shoe, depending on the maker of the shoe. I can not imagine these fitting a person whose feet were any wider than mine, due to the way the velcro faster is sewed onto the material (there wouldn't be enough velcro to fit the material). Neither can I imagine these fitting a person with a slimmer foot than mine, as the velcro would have not worked properly, that way, either. Thank Goodness for Amazon Return Policy. I called Amazon's 1 - 800 number, told of the problem (they don't fit properly), was sent (via email) a return label, and given a full refund once they received the item.

Best Ankle Brace for Me
I ordered this ankle brace along with several other kinds found on Amazon.com. My left ankle has recurring tendon problems from an ankle sprain decades ago. I was looking for something to help alleviate the pain of walking and standing, and also allow me to exercise without pain. This has turned out to be the best performer for many reasons. First, it is adjustable, soft, and stretchy yet very supportive. Others were either too soft offering no support, or too scratchy/stiff so that they did not allow for natural movement. It is easy to put on, much easier than the lace up and as easy as zip up braces. The stretchy material is soft and thin enough to allow you to wear this with shoes, and my only wish is that they offered it in a nude/flesh color. I also am able to sleep with this brace on comfortably. One note, my ankle is large, but the stretchy material allowed me to wear it no problem. There is a possibility that if you have large ankles you might want to put a small piece of Rock Tape on the top of the foot to ensure that there is no rubbing of the exposed velcro.

Very Helpful
I have a size 9 foot and this was ideal to use in combination. I had torn my ligament off the bone. During the day I’d have my foot strapped, but when my partner wasn’t available to do this I used this to give protection in the mean time. It’s comfortable, maybe a little difficult with different footwear. Okay for wearing with sandals. I think it’s a good product and have utilised it since I purchased it.

Flexible & supportive
This product is very good indeed. With Hypermobility Syndrome (multiple, overextending, dislocating unstable painful inflamed joints) I am someone who is spending a lifetime in braces, immobilizers, splints and supports. I wear immobilizing ankle supports which are great when weight bearing and moving but too restrictive and rigid when relaxing. I purchased this Bracoo ankle support without expectation a month ago and have worn it most days since. It's supportive whilst still being flexible, and the ankle still has a full range of movement. It's comfortable to wear for hours at a time with soft breathable material which washes just fine in warm soapy water. I have also popped it into the washing machine. It dries quickly too and retains it's shape. It holds my ankle in position whilst I'm relaxing and toddling around, easing allot of the pain and discomfort. You can adjust the support to fit tighter or looser easily with the velcro connectors. It fits really well and because this product is slimline and not bulky, I have found that I am able to wear it inside most shoes and boots, it becomes a part of you. The only one slight niggle I have is that after many hours or all night, it creates a pressure point at the heal - not surprising after such a length of time, easily solved though - wear a sock or plaster. For me this ankle support is amazing, I'm so thrilled and I certainly intend to try more Bracoo products. Excellent value for money, a hospital quality product.
