3.9inch Gold Embroidery Scissors, HITOPTY Vintage Trimming Sharp Snips for Craft Art Sewing Work Small Projects

I wanted a really small pot of scissors that would fit in the case I have that carries all of my hooks and supplies, but would also give me a nice clean cut. I love these - they fit the bill on both counts! No problem for me to hold them either - I’m an average sized female.

I honestly do not know how I used to sew without these. They are small, solidly built and sharp enough. The only thing is, if you have larger hands, you might not find the handles comfortable. For me though (and my 5'3" average weight female hands) they are quite smooth and natural to work with. My favorite thing about these is that unlike most embroidery scissors I've had, including my fancypants Merchant & Mills ones, the tip comes to quite a small point with rounded edges, which is just perfect for slipping under a stitch to smoothly pull out an entire line of stitching without risk of damaging the fabric (as you often get with seam rippers), and it really speeds up the process, especially if you're one who makes lots of mistakes as you go. They're nice to keep by the machine as a pair of thread snips, and on top of that, they are surprisingly quite a strong little pair of scissors that can cut through several layers of fabric. I would not say they should replace fabric shears by any means, but they are a nice versatile tool to have, and would be great for travel too. While I don't particularly want to support random mass-manufactured products of questionable origin, I do want other crafters to know about the quality-of-life improvements these well-designed embroidery scissors bring.

Small and fit in sewing kit without taking over a lot of space. Sharp and cut clean. Pretty scissors.

We got these to top up our order and were not disappointed. They are very nice little scissors.

I find they aren't sharp enough, they are a little on the cheap side
