2pcs Low Profile Wand Tilter Mechanism with 7/32" Hexagon Shaped Gear Hook Connection for Low Rail Horizontal Wood and Faux Wood Blinds headrail

Seemed to be direct replacement for OEM tilter mechanism that were no longer working. Followed replacement video posted by another reviewer. The video was very helpful. Replacement was easy. These new mechanisms seemed to be good quality, and worked the blind tilting very smoothly. Will buy some more to replace some other tilter mechanisms on other blinds that are barely working.

exactly what we needed very easy to install.

I have double blinds from 2003 they are in great shape aside from one of the two tilts being broken. This one looks exactly the same as our tilt box however our blind has a more triangular shaft and gear wheel, i was able to open the box and use the original gear inside. Works perfectly.

Awesome replacement blind tilt mechanism. You MUST verify if this fits. There are several styles of tilt mechanism; this appears to be the most common, with the hex shaft. Easy install: Take the blind off the carrier brackets, remove end caps (if present), spread apart the aluminum housing top rails so you can pop out the housing from the mount area for both this mechanism and the closest lift mechanism so there is enough play to slide it out. The tilt retention tab has to be removed from the bottom cutout of the frame. Then slide this mechanism out from the shaft and insert the new one. Make sure the retention tab is properly positioned in the cutout (facing down) then re-clip both mechanisms under the housing rails so that they stay put like before. Great quality!.

My kids pulled the wand out of the socket and broke the mechanism that holds the wand. I was going to go buy new blinds for the room, which meant updating blinds in the other room to make it match (the windows are visible from the front street). Ended up finding this part, ordered and installed it. The part was easy to replace with the blinds removed from the window, and the wand/rod fit perfectly back into place without having to replace that as well. Now I have a spare one, in case any of the others break. Saved me from buying two (or more) sets of blinds for the rest of my house. Good quality so far, and functions well.

I bought these for a project. I recently bought some switch-bot automatic blind open/close devices, along with some new faux wood window blinds. Unfortunately, the switch-bots require the blinds to be opened and closed with a tilt wand, and the rather expensive blinds I bought had a string tilt mechanism. These tilt mechanism's fit perfectly once I had manoeuvred it in to place. It clicks on and remains secure. I've added some tilt wands and installed the switch-bots, and now my blinds open and close automatically, allowing me to be even more lazy each day.
