Are the typing keys quite?. i need a keyboard that has quite keys as I am typing when I am on a speakerphone in business conferences. any suggestions?

It depends on the microphone gain and design of the microphone. If your microphone is less than 12 inches and aimed at the keyboard you might pick up 2 dB. If you drop your pen on the desktop the dB will go up 30 dB. normal whisper quiet whisper is 28 dB. Read the specifications on the settings of your conference room device that you are concerned with background noise. My Microsoft Natural Ergonomic produces 10dB above the background sound level in the quiet room.

can i set this up to use in the bath, is it safe to do so?

I would not. Its spill resistant, but I don't think it's meant to be submerged

Does this work with android? my device has a usb for this.

If you have a usb port, it should. It works on all my devices that do.

If this keyboard is stored in the box/tube it comes in, will it be okay to pack in a suitcase that will be checked baggage?

Yes the box it came in was very sturdy. I had put mine in a back pack and it was good to go.
