With the name Smeg does not mean buying quality
You would think, having paid £124.96 for a quality product, it would last but that is not the case failing to work in just over 12 months - does ‘quality’ and nam mean anything these days - obviously not when a basic toaster will last just s well - the only saving grace is here is a two year warranty and is replaced without any fuss but with a name ‘Smeg’ it should not happen. Cannot take and toast sliced supermarket bread completely so question value for money

Worst design feature ever
Read the one star reviews. They are a true. Poorly made. Blows circuits. Sends toast out of toaster onto floor. (I had the 2 slice version of this toaster and it had a lovely smooth release mechanism!) But. The worst thing about this toaster is the illuminated dial. If you switch it on in anything but direct sunlight (unlikely at breakfast time), the light in the dial casing makes it impossible to see what level you have selected. So, in order to see/reset you have to press the cancel button which puts your untoasted bread into orbit.

Pochi giorni dopo il mio acquisto ed essermi arrivato con una presa di corrente non adatta, magicamente compare la disponibilità dello stesso prodotto a 30€ in meno e di sicuro con una presa di corrente adatta invece di essere inglese!

La tostadora es de calidad. La recomiendo para personas que ya hayan tenido antes una tostadora y quieran pasar a un nivel de calidad superior. Todo al tacto se siente muy bien en acabados. Las funciones que tiene para mi son más que suficientes. La recomiendo al 100.

Love Love Love
We received the gold kettle and loved that so much we could not resist the toaster. And I am glad we did. Not only is this the prettiest toaster ever, it is super high quality. Love to use it. Love when people see it. Don't resist it. Get one.
