Great cuppa!
Makes a great coffee. Just watch some videos about how to get the best out of it. Takes a little practice from being a novice. Love how I can now have better coffee at home than from a coffee shop

The real biz
This one is the business. I had a fully manual one of these for 20 years and this one is the same quality but with a few more bells and whistles. Unlike Delonghi

Beautiful, functional coffee machine
Updated older model of the same make to this one. Beautiful and functional. Not too many electronic things/buttons that is what exactly we were after!

No coffee machine
Just contacted the seller with a request to replace this machine. After only 5 months use the on/off switch has stopped working, so the ma nine is now useless. Would have expected better quality from Gaggia, this particular one is supposed to be as near a professional coffee machine as you a buy. Very disappointed

Makes Great Coffee......But.
This is a great coffee machine, built like a tank and makes great coffee. However it is a very manual machine, no timers or fancy temperature controls, just on off switches and a thermostat. My previous machine was a Sage Bambino which was much easier for long white coffees like latte and flat white, as it had timers and automatic milk frothing. The Gaggia makes better coffee than the Sage, but I have had to buy a lot of new accessories like a decent espresso grinder, tamper, distributor and puck screen.

First espresso machine
First espresso machine and so far so good. Still have a lot of learning to do but this appears to be a well built machine that will last. Only thing that dropped a star is the tamper provided - some horrible little plastic thing that doesn't even fit the 58mm basket. You'd think for the price you're paying that Gaggia could throw in a nicer tamper that fits. I've had to buy that separately.

Great machine. Great after-sale support.
Fantastic coffee machine. Makes amazing coffee. This company (Cafe Shop) were great to deal with in after-sales support. Highly recommend.

Great coffee machine.
Bought this to replace an earlier version off this machine which I’ve had for about 15+ years but alas it eventually broke down completely, the new machine seems to be working well in the brief time I’ve had it, let’s hope I get as many years out of this as I did the last one, personally I think the gaggia classic is excellent for my needs and highly recommend it and it makes a great coffee and it’s super easy to use.

Little ripper of a machine
This is an awesome machine. Makes a perfect crema and the steam boiler punches out got milk very quickly. I have a Breville Oracle at home and we use this one in our holiday home. I almost think the Gaggia makes a better espresso. Only thing would be that it is a little slower at making more than 2-3 coffees as you can't stream milk and make espresso at the same time. However... For a third of the price this machine wins actually. Very, very happy.

Almost as good as an 80 pound commercial machine
This Gaggia classic make superlative double espresso long for me. Using Starbucks Sumatra beans and a Breville smart grinder, I made the espresso in the photo. If I had to get rid of my Elektra T1 commercial espresso machine in my basement, it would not be much of a loss, compared to the Gaggia Classic. I have had many espresso machines: ascaso dream zero, a few breville machines, rancilio silvia, ECM giotto, etc.. They do not equal the gaggia classic, in my opinion , and for the price. The winning factors is the boiler unit and the heavy brass commercial 58 mm handle. Paying for in at Amazon.ca, is a no brainer over 12 months at 0% interest. With a decent grinder and coffee, you will/should be very happy. Just now, I see the asking price, on Amazon.ca is about $1140. !? as of march 24, 2024, in Canda. Its still $650 elsewhere in Canada.

Great but some learning curve
Great machine. Only reason for 4 stars is because the steam wand could be better. You need to learn how to make the machine stay hot enough for long enough. Otherwise you will struggle a little with the milk. But once you get the hang of it, it works well. Other machines are better at that however. Otherwise the rest of the machine is fantastic, I’m pulling some great shots.
