This is the only cutter I use when making my grandmother's shortbread cookies! I'm replacing my old one.

Exactly what I needed for shortbread

When I was a little girl, every Christmas my grandmother would get all us grandkids together and we would make cookies. We made all kinds of shapes and sizes of cookies and every color you could think of. We even got grandma to add food coloring to the dough so we could bake them in different colors. The cookies were then taken to homeless shelters and neighbors who didn't have family near them for the holidays. This memory stays with me today and I hope when I have grandchildren I can carry this tradition on. I searched for a shortbread cutter in this shape for quite some time. I have used this cutter many times and find it to be very good. It is thin metal but works great.

The Fox Run shortbread cookie cutter has a nice design, but it takes a long time to get the dough out of it.

Nice sturdy, easy to clean cookie cutter for shortbreads. Sometimes a little difficult for the dough to release, but it’s easily resolved with some extra flour. I highly recommend this product.

I use this for shortbread makes them look very professional. Downside is you really have to tap them sideways to get dough out but it does work. Made lots of shortbread with it and it makes them uniformed. Took ages to arrive though so be prepared.
