AMAZING! 13 feet tall and still growing!
First of all, I did not read the directions and thought my seeds did not germinate. I planted them in May 2023. Everything in my garden grew except for these seeds. However, this winter around March 2024, something green started sprouting. There was still snow on the ground and more in the forecast so I hadnโt even started thinking about preparing my garden for spring. I figured the greenery was just weeds. When the snow melted and I finally got out there in May, those green things had gotten pretty big all in a row. So I did a google image search before I tilled up the whole garden bed. Lo and behold they were in fact the hollyhocks I had been cursing for never germinating lol. So I tilled the garden around them, added some more soil and manure and just kept them watered. They kept growing and growing and growing then finally little flower buds started popping up. They product the most beautiful black flowers unlike anything Iโve ever seen. Iโm so proud of them and go outside to check on them everyday. 2 weeks ago I used my tape measure and got up to 13 feet on the tallest one. By the time Iโm posting it though Iโm sure itโs grown another 2 feet. Theyโve all mostly gone to seed now but everyday more and more flowers keep popping up and they keep growing taller. I was not prepared for the amount of seeds these bad boys produce. I guarantee they will be growing here long after I move out. Iโve already collected 8 million of the seeds already. I have giant gallon size bags full of the seed pods. These are genuinely the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and would be a great addition to any garden. But to have them takes patience and reading directions lol. 2 years means you plant them this year, and next year you will see plants. I have learned my lesson so you donโt have to.

The seeds seem strong and geminated greatly. In addition, they growed strongly
geminated with high probability

Easy to grow and just GORGEOUS!
I started these inside and transplanted them outside at the beginning of the summer. They grew very quickly in full sun and were absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments. And they were VERY tall. One of ours grew to nine feet and the flowers were the most beautiful shade of black. I cut them back over a month ago when the blooms fell and theyโve already started growing back. I would highly recommend!

Not black
Was bummed to wait half a year for them to bloom and they're not even black hollyhocks. The ones I got are white and pink. They look nice and big otherwise and were easy to grow, but bummed they're not as described.

Still holding out hope!
Still holding out hope! Well, not much luck yet. All the other types of seeds I've planted have started to sprout. Maybe these guys are just late sleepers! I love dark colors and do hope these make it! They might be beautiful, so I hope to find out! The seeds did look good, and fast shipping.

Stratify = Success!
I am extremely pleased with these seeds. I placed them under cold stratification and was surprised to find sprouts in less than 3 weeks! I now have at least 69/100 hollyhocks sprouts transferred and germinating. I placed the remaining ones that had not sprouted back in cold strat and hopefully will find that nearly the entire pack will yield success. EASY OF GROWTH. VALUE FOR MONEY. EXCELLENT QUALITY. SPROUTS and GREEN BABY LEAVES.

Nothing
It had a lot of moisture inside the envelope but I really did not build too much of a difference on my face
