I bought this to have more options other than streaming direct from the PS5. Such as using OBS to add to my stream, or use other consoles such as the Switch or retro machines. For this it is very good, my stream looks really sharp & clear. The only issue I have is with the passthrough. All in all it looks "fine", & certainly latency is either non-existent or so slight as to be undetectable to the human eye. So, perfectly useable. However, the colours appear to be less vivid than coming direct from the console. I did download their app & play with the settings, & this did make a noticeable improvement. But still, s little less vivid. Now, this may be just because I have an older LCD TV, or exploring the settings further may help. It's only a slight annoyance, & the actual output to YouTube is pretty much perfect. Also it is very easy to set up, for someone like me who has to re-watch multiple tutorials to use programs like OBS & Resolve. All in all, I would probably still buy this if I had a chance to road test it first.

Perfect, performed just as intended, no lag or frames dropped, capture hi res audio perfectly, good connectivity, works perfect in Macos. Many cheaper devices but this is the only one that works.

This is one of the most important pieces of equipment content creators must have. I had on of the cheap cards before and realized it was causing problems here and there. I decided to go all in and got this one. Wow, the difference was clear immediately. Straightaway, I could see that without this card, I can’t work on a professional level. I’m going to get another one later on as a backup. This is worth the price is you are serious.

I finally upgraded from my old HD60 which I had for years and sadly became outdated. I decided to stay with elgato due to their previous quality. I was not disappointed with this product, the 0ms latency leaves you with a real time recording, not really having to sync up your audio anymore (unless you use a camera). The picture quality is very good, I've used it on both Mac and Windows and have experienced no issues at all. It is very easy to set up (I use it with my Xbox Series S). It does not impact the gameplay or display, it is like its not there. Is it worth nearly £200? Probably not, I waited for this to go on sale (anything around £150 is worth it!). But overall this product is a must buy if you are looking into streaming or recording!
