Small Colored MTech Style Pocket Knife Spring Asissted (Ti-Rainbow)

Bought this for my son, as he is a Boy Scout and getting very interested in different pocket knives. This is a spring assist, which appeals to any red blooded American boy. It's fairly small, but plenty big for pockets of adults as well. Very well made for the money. It's really surprising how economical this is. Our other son was envious and decided to buy one for himself as well. He also loved his, although he went for the all stainless steel finish. The bottle opener on the back of it gets it borrowed by his dad once in a while ;) Note that the orange blade does not look as dark of orange as the picture, but quite a good deal for under nine bucks.

Especially on a $10 knife. But come on. In low light, it looks maroon. In light, it looks pink. It doesn't even look like the dye penetrated the metal. It only looks red if you look at it *just* right. The black of the handle is good though. The spring assist works well but it can be hard to trigger. It comes in your run of the mill Chinese flea market box which is a good indicator in your quality.Good news is it feels durable. I got this to use as a beater knife and bottle opener, and it will surely serve both purposes well.But if you go in expecting a vivid blade color, you are sure for disappointment. There are cheaper sellers for the same exact thing.EDIT: Took it out in daylight, and it is maroon. Asked coworkers and they agreed. Very much NOT red, and its too far off color to be a fluke.

Very surprised by how well this little knife is made. Feels really sturdy and the green color is very nice. Comes out of the box very sharp and ready to go. The clip is tight but it makes for a secure clip to you're pocket or belt. I ordered one for my pops too. After seeing mine he wanted one for himself. I'll use this as everyday carry so I don't lose my expensive knife. Great buy for the price worth it.

At 1st..I was hesitant about another Mtech item, but decided to take a chance, and glad i did.. Its small like I wanted, and as the description says..chrome like it says..bottle opener, nice..fits my hands nice..blade nice and sharp..flipper, very nice..the clip is what I wanted to know..Ill be dogone, awesome..perfect edc knife, small, and opener..Im happy..get this one! Now if they can make one this size, with glass braker and seat cutter..

This knife is small but sturdy. Much heavier than it looks but it's nice to have a little weight with such a small knife. The spring assist operates well and has some force to it. So far I'm perfectly happy using this as an edc.

This thing is really good for the money. Quicky and sharply flies open, seems very solid too. But, this thing is bigger than I expected. It's thicker and wider than I thought it would be. Blade doesn't come sharp. Bottle opener is cool feature. Also, the pocket clip is chromed out. Personally, I don't like that, it screams out to people that you are carrying a knife.

Look this is an 8 dollar knife. You carry it just in case you need to cut something not because you need to constantly cut things. A simply box cutter will do that job. And its not going to hold an edge very long but it is sharp. But if a situation arises where cutting is necessary and the blade is sharp it will get the job done.

I like how small it is, and the metal is clean and finger print free upon opening the package. The spring is very tight so be careful when opening and closing it.
